“This is easily the coolest restaurant I have ever been to. It is a restaurant/record store/comic book store/small concert venue/event center. The food is awesome, the owners are incredibly nice, the events are frequent and awesome. Everyone should check this place out.“
“The food and atmosphere was really good, but the service unfortunately was well below average. We received our appetizer and fresh buns after our main course came. Our server seemed to have lots of free time to talk to friends or people she knew at other tables. All in all, would probably go back, but it was a little disappointing based on the other reviews.“
“Some of the bartenders are pretty rude there's one guy in there hes older where's glasses hes kind of a snot kind of snippy when you order beers or make comments or something to him he gets really snippy hes been there for a long time but hes a crab a**“
“I was curious about the food here, and I was surprised. It's small, dark and loud and I was told it wasn't that busy. I'm not into crowds, so eating in wasn't in the cards. The Cajun pasta with the crawdads wad the way to go. Little flavor bombs and cooked perfectly. The Mardi Gras pasta was equally tasty. Very good sausage and ham that you didn't have to search for in the pasta. Both of these I got at level 12 heat which was just right. You know it's right when your nose runs. I like that you have a choice of how hot you want the spice level. I can only imagine what the 40 level is like. The stir fry would have been better with pasta, the rice was a let down. The shark sauce was spot on with the wings. A little sweet with the heat. I'd like the sauce on the side and a crispy wing, but that's my taste. Overall I was happy with my first visit and I'll be back to try something new. Don't be intimated by their security at the main door, they take underage drinking seriously and it's appreciated.“
“We moved to the Grand Forks area 3 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, and before that we lived in Minneapolis. Helix is as good as any restaurant we went to in either of those cities. My wife is glute-free and has a number of go-to items on the menu, which is clearly labeled for gluten-free options. We have gone multiple times and will be back!“
“Delicious burgers and frozen custard. Nice that they offer gluten free burgers and gluten free buns packaged separately. If you talk to staff you can also purchase the burger buns separately, which we did as our kids enjoyed them so much!“
“They provided the food for my daughters wedding dinner. It was nothing short of perfect. Everyone was extremely fat and happy when said and done. Some of the best beef tips I’ve ever had. Mashed potatoes second only to my moms. Can’t wait to eat their food again. Highly recommended.“
“We'll kept place, quite large, several gaming choices, great food, fast service, reasonable prices, daily specials on food and drinks. Doesn't get any better. Today at lunch I had bowl of chili $6.95, wife had hot turkey sandwich plate $8.95, and friend with us club sandwich with waffle fries $6.95. All was delicious.“
“This obscure bar/pub on South Washington (across the street from McDonald’s, DQ, and Subway) is quite large inside! Blackjack tables, automatic pull-tab machines, several pool tables, plenty of seating, and TVs... as well as a small menu of pub food items, full bar, and cold beer. Heck yeah! This was my first time visiting this place since it has been named “The Office Pub & Grub,” which opened in 2019. I have every reason to stop in again. Thank you! Until then... Cheers!“
“This was the highlight of dining for me in Grand Forks. It was recommended by a friend out in Idaho, so I did have to travel a ways to get there. Food was flavourful, and the service was excellent. I had the seafood Lavosh with beef and gorganzola on the other half. I got it because I hadn't heard of it before. I pictured a flat bread sandwich, but it is much closer to an extremely thin crust pizza. Crust was crisp and heated up well later when I had leftovers. It's worth the trip to find it.“
“Recently moved here from Pennsylvania, and this is my favorite restaurant so far! The food is always good, timely service, and the atmosphere is nice. I definitely recommend their artichoke as an appetizer! My husband loves their rueben sandwich. If you’re looking for a little Friday cocktail their lemon drop is good!“
“It’s a happening place for UND and other students and the Grand Forks AFB crowd from what I heard. My friend and I went when there wasn’t any crowd and it was nice. There are games and pool tables and you are allowed to drink while playing. The place is spacious and you can find a corner to enjoy your time. The apps were very good and big enough portions to feel satiated and not hungry with your drink. We had the chicken elotes (feels like tacos) and quesadillas. Plenty of food and quesadillas came with melted cheese spread And nachos with sour cream and salsa and lettuce and tomato. Fun and nice place. The waitresses came around a lot for requests so you will never not be served. You need to add your card in the beginning for your bill.“
“Very bustling and alive with a young and energetic crowd. There are lots of fun stuff to do: blackjack, roulette, slot machines, darts, pool. Drinks served non stop w wait staff walking around for more rounds, a ton of flat screen TVs for games being shown, and 2 levels just to lounge and enjoy time w buddies. Music is loud, people are talking, and it’s fun to people watch.“
“Fast and great service, I had hardly sat down at a table when the waiter came and asked for my drink order and then brought a food menu when he brought my drink. Sandwich came out maybe 5 minutes after I ordered. Had the philly dip. Great food and “
“I had a very enjoyable meal here on Thursday 2/15. Katelyn was my server/bartender and she was efficient, friendly and engaging. I had several drinks that were great, and an amazing burger. Great style and atmosphere too. Skies 322 will be on my rotation of restaurants when visiting for work. Thanks, Katelyn- you were awesome!!“
“Service was great! The check out was absolutely horrible. The kid was rude and more worried about his hair than being courteous to us. When we ordered our piece of pie he threw it in there. We then asked for a plastic fork so we could eat it, he walked away to the bathroom. Another worker had to pick up his slack. Everything else was amazing food and our waitress was super sweet. I don't like how he was playing with his hair and touching our desert. I can't quite remember his name besides that it started with a c. He was wearing a UND hockey zip up. Sorry to complain, but we are very upset with how he treated us and the way he spoke to us and completely ignored the needs of us at the end of an amazing experience.3/17/24“
“Walked by the restaurant and never stopped until today. Wanted something different and was surprised lunch wasn't being served at noon, but breakfast was. Our server said they had a great breakfast and he was right. The breakfast poutine was tasty and the fries remained crisp. The chicken & Waffles was a surprise. The waffles were crunch on the outside and tender inside. They held up to the syrup very nicely. The chicken tender were made from a chicken breast, lightly seasoned and juicy. Our breakfast was a hit. We'll be back to try lunch, the truffle parmesean fries are calling our name.“
“This is what I would call a classic diner. The owner was working the front, and you could tell she really cared about everything being correct. I had biscuits and gravy with hasbrowns and 2 fried eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. Could have used a little less salt in the gravy, but it still had a good flavor. Small diner, but it's worth the wait if the tables are full.“
