I stopped by for lunch. Parking was a little tight (this was peak lunch time). I was able to get a table without waiting. I had the soup of the day which was very tasty. Service was very fast. The exultant service was due in part that I selected the soup of the day (ready made) and coffee. If I had selected a meal requiring preparation my experience may have been different. Definitely a place to try if you are in Mandan. Check hours, they do close early.
For many generations the Syvrud family and their descendants have enjoyed this great place. I’ve got more memories than I can count. From breakfast gatherings to lunches. Our families gathering together in-front of the cafe for the 4th of July parade. My kids always get the bubble gum ice cream after the meal. My aunt Karol is a Mandan resident and she sends us Ohms gift cards every year for our birthdays. I really hope that whoever buys it keeps the tradition going. All the...read full review
