Waited to order appy, received it 35 minutes later. Supper came after an hour after. 3 waitresses and no water for 20 mins. Waitresses visiting with all tables and standing around. Not friendly at all.

November 16, 2023 Update: Every visit to Minot, ND has to culminate in a visit to and fine meal at Vardon. Service and food were of course fantastic. However, what stood out this time was the above-and-beyond service provided by Camille and Ray (GM). Ray and I connected originally over wine tastes and recommendations - ever since, he always makes it a point to visit our table and share his vast knowledge of wines and meal pairings! Truly appreciate his personal touch! In being deeply engrossed in a passionate discussion with colleagues, I left my jacket behind draped over my chair. Was oblivious to its absence until Camille and Ray traced it back to me, called to remind, and upon sensing my hesitation about options (due to the lateness of the night and a very early flight next morning) - had offered to personally pay if they could Uber or Lyft it over to my hotel - they conferred briefly, and unhesitatingly offered to have Camille drive over to my hotel and deliver the jacket personally. She followed through in quick order and I was reunited with my jacket the same night! Wow! What care and service! Truly rare in this often uncaring world we live in! They are awesome people - I rewarded Camille for her thoughtfulness and effort - just the right thing to do! Kudos to her, as well as to management for hiring such caring people! As the photos show and as I have amply described below, food (Fried Calamari, Clam Chowder, Pork Chop, Delmonico Steak and Bison/Beef/Elk/Venison Burger with Shoestring Fries), as usual, was awesome! Looking forward to my next visit! Happy Thanksgiving to Camille, Ray, and the entire Vardon team!

I appreciate being able to seat myself. There are beautiful views outside the window in the fairly new addition. The food was prepared well and had fantastic flavors. Walleye bites are a must try. They are seasoned and crisp to perfection. Fitz's Quinoa Bowl had spicy red flakes in the sauce that was not listed in the menu. The salmon was cooked extremely well. The flavors were a great mix of sweet and savory, minus the spicy bites. The special Shrimp Fried Rice sith Postickers dish also had some spicy rice, which again was not listed. This patron wasn't able to finish the rice. Listing spice on the menu will help the customer make appropriate choices when ordering. The rest of our party enjoyed the 1237 East Passyunk Ave. Cheesesteak, JZ's Original or Mediterranean Chicken Gyro with Beef/Lamb, and Shrimp Fried Rice with PotSticker special (including the spice!) The evening was busy and there were only two servers so service took longer than previous visits. Even so, the two waitresses did a wonderful job, remained pleasant, and did not show stress. All in all, we had a wonderful evening in a relaxing atmosphere. I appreciated the busy night with extended waits because it gave us more quality time together.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid's menu with 6 menu items in addition to sides.

Great Beautiful course. However, they do nothing about slow play. One group had 6 groups backed up from home 11 till 18. For the price, you should expect a Marshall or something to make slow groups let others pay through. Very frustrating. Course conditions are the best in Minot though.
Really to be honest the food was not super great but it was 100% due to it being so busy and understaffed for the day. The bartender was busting his butt and doing the best he could to keep up and by no means was it his fault the food was a little cold. If not for that this place is great and they are always nice and the course is fun to play. It was just an off day the last time we were in there but I will totally be back and eat again.
