“Loved this small but mighty ramen and poke restaurants. What pleased us the most was that they had kid's menus with great option for you picky eaters. Aside from that, I had the chicken Katsu spicy ramen and my better half had a pole bowl. Everything was great and we really enjoyed our meal. We definitely will go back again next time we are in Fargo.”

“Love this place! Michele treats you like you’re a guest in her home. I’ve been there a couple of times and have had scones, almond croissant cookies, ginger cookies and the sweet pink drink. All were fabulous! The atmosphere is lovely right on down to the pink heart straws. You won’t be disappointed!”

We used to live in Fargo and this place was one of our favorite burger joints while we were there due to their unique burgers, fresh cut potato chips or fries with dipping sauces and selection of tap beers. When we got back to town, we had to stop for dinner.

Along with the pre-requisite cold tap beers, tonight my wife ordered the Wham Bam Bacon Jam burger (see picture) and I opted for the Classic Chicken (see picture). As per what we've become accustomed to expecting at JL Beers, both of them were delicious. Those fresh cut potato chips and delicious dipping sauces just can't be beat.

After eating tonight, our friends shared with us that they had gotten there early, so had their favorite appetizer - a large pretzel with homemade peanut butter. They had a little of the peanut butter left, so we tried it - and were hooked! We asked and found out that all they used for ingredients were honey roasted peanuts - so you know they were on our doorstop in Des Moines shortly after we returned home - and were ground into peanut butter that night! You definitely want to give it a try!

“Thunder coffee is a fun small coffee shop to be at. I do recommend them to sit down and enjoy coffee or meet up with someone for a meeting. They do have unique specialty latte flavors if you wanted to try something new. So for everything I ordered is very delicious. One thing I do wish is that you guys are a little bit more Photography friendly . Most of my Photography clients are bare minimal when it comes to budget. So when it comes to photos with coffee and relaxing in your beautiful place. We would love to do stuff but we don’t have the extra budget you guys were asking for. I do hope one day you guys will be more open to extending your policy for some trades or so. Other than that, I still love you guys.”

“Played in pool league tonight. They had 2 tables, and 3 dart boards. A good place for gaming. They had a good group of people enjoying the atmosphere. They looked to be having a good time. If you like gambling, they have it all. Pull tabs, slot machines and a black jack table. They also had a paddle wheel for weekend nights. Not a bad place.”

“The Local 701 Bar did an awesome job for my husbands 50th Birthday party. The staff was amazing and so great to work with prior and the night of the party. The bartenders made sure the pizza bar was full all night. The food was wonderful and the service was great. The side room has a great set up with your own bartenders. “Ordered 2 calzones and wings from Marco's for pick up in the evening. The food was ready to go. The calzones tested great, best I've had since leaving New York. I like the fact that the wings were big and not dried out or oily. The service was exceptional and friendly as well. Thank you.”

“I am in Sanford children’s hospital with my daughter. I reached out to the lights Facebook page and asked if they would deliver me a tea since we came by ambulance. They didn’t hesitate and brought one over. They also threw in another tea kit so I could make the next day during our hospital stay! The tea was amazing and the customer service was top notch. “I usually never have a problem with this location, lately they've been extremely slow. On top of that, there was one day that I had a mobile order set for 30 minutes before they closed (on a day they were scheduled to close early). I arrived 30 minutes before close, right on time for my order, only to find out the doors were locked. It was very upsetting and inconvenient. I ended up having to wait on the drive through for 20 minutes. I get it, employees want to lock up and clean up early so they can go home, but if the hours say the lobby is open, it should stay open.”

She told me the options they had and I stated we were worried about cross-contamination and when it was delivered, they went above and beyond and kept everything separate. Tried other dishes I never heard of and were also good. Staff was always cleaning as people left. Building was a warm, but A/C could have been down with heat wave.”

“I went to the Barcode for a date night with my wife because they have free bingo. I was not expecting the food to be this amazing. Now my wife and I go to the Barcode once a week. The food is absolutely delicious. One of my favorites is the BBQ pulled pork Nachos. The sandwiches and burgers are amazing as well. They have excellent pizza too. The staff members are rock stars. Professional, polite and on top of things. I highly recommend the Barcode as it is now one of my favorite places to eat. They also allow dogs on the patio with water available for the K9 friends.”
