“Loved this small but mighty ramen and poke restaurants. What pleased us the most was that they had kid's menus with great option for you picky eaters. Aside from that, I had the chicken Katsu spicy ramen and my better half had a pole bowl. Everything was great and we really enjoyed our meal. We definitely will go back again next time we are in Fargo.”

“Thunder coffee is a fun small coffee shop to be at. I do recommend them to sit down and enjoy coffee or meet up with someone for a meeting. They do have unique specialty latte flavors if you wanted to try something new. So for everything I ordered is very delicious. One thing I do wish is that you guys are a little bit more Photography friendly . Most of my Photography clients are bare minimal when it comes to budget. So when it comes to photos with coffee and relaxing in your beautiful place. We would love to do stuff but we don’t have the extra budget you guys were asking for. “Tried their.featured burger....The Elvis.... definitely worth trying! Party of 5, all ordered different burgers plus fries. Everything tasted great! Waitresses were also great. This place has both a bar side but also a restaurant set on the other side of its building. Located on a cute section of a rejuvenated Shyenne St. Bonus: the gentleman that held the door open for us as we walked in paid our bill without us knowing until the waitress told us to have a great night and your bill has been covered. Still good people around😊.”

“I am in Sanford children’s hospital with my daughter. I reached out to the lights Facebook page and asked if they would deliver me a tea since we came by ambulance. They didn’t hesitate and brought one over. They also threw in another tea kit so I could make the next day during our hospital stay! The tea was amazing and the customer service was top notch. They have earned as a customer every time were I’m in Fargo! 10/10 recommend!”

“Checked out this 'new to us' sports bar last night called Brewtus Brickhouse. My buddies and I were itching to try someplace different for a change of pace. From the minute we sauntered in, I got good vibes. Tons of TVs primed for the big game, ice cold suds on tap, and a killer '80s rock soundtrack - complete with the manager doing hamstring stretches and ripping air guitar before each song. The menu looked sick - loaded up on wings, and snagged a secret menu taco grinder pizza our server 'Sweet Tators' tipped us off to. Our waitress Boods was a real ace - laid back, knew her sports, and clearly a cat lover. She took solid care of our crew out on the patio. Overall, Brewtus is a top-notch spot! My boys agreed we found our go-to for knocking back cool ones 😎 🍺”

“Played in pool league tonight. They had 2 tables, and 3 dart boards. A good place for gaming. They had a good group of people enjoying the atmosphere. They looked to be having a good time. If you like gambling, they have it all. Pull tabs, slot machines and a black jack table. They also had a paddle wheel for weekend nights. Not a bad place.”

“The Local 701 Bar did an awesome job for my husbands 50th Birthday party. The staff was amazing and so great to work with prior and the night of the party. The bartenders made sure the pizza bar was full all night. The food was wonderful and the service was great. The side room has a great set up with your own bartenders. “I usually never have a problem with this location, lately they've been extremely slow. On top of that, there was one day that I had a mobile order set for 30 minutes before they closed (on a day they were scheduled to close early). I arrived 30 minutes before close, right on time for my order, only to find out the doors were locked. It was very upsetting and inconvenient. I ended up having to wait on the drive through for 20 minutes. I get it, employees want to lock up and clean up early so they can go home, but if the hours say the lobby is open, it should stay open.”

“We ordered lunch for a work event. I emailed the manager asking for gluten-free options and they were so awesome and accommodating. She told me the options they had and I stated we were worried about cross-contamination and when it was delivered, they went above and beyond and kept everything separate. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing.”

“I went to the Barcode for a date night with my wife because they have free bingo. I was not expecting the food to be this amazing. Now my wife and I go to the Barcode once a week. The food is absolutely delicious. One of my favorites is the BBQ pulled pork Nachos. The sandwiches and burgers are amazing as well. They have excellent pizza too. The staff members are rock stars. Professional, polite and on top of things. I highly recommend the Barcode as it is now one of my favorite places to eat. They also allow dogs on the patio with water available for the K9 friends.”

“We tried China King for the first time and overall, it was a good experience. When we walked in, the staff cleaning the front gave us a seat right away, within a minute. She wasn’t exactly friendly, but maybe that’s just how she normally is.

They had a good variety of food, mostly focused on Chinese dishes, which makes sense given the name China King Buffet. Some trays weren’t hot or freshly refilled at first, but I noticed they rotated the food and brought out fresh ones shortly after, which I appreciated.

My favorites were the green beans and broccoli. They were cooked just right, still crunchy and a bit salty, but not too much. The chicken broccoli was also really good. I loved the butter shrimp and especially the teriyaki chicken on a stick. It looked like grilled satay but was actually marinated and fried teriyaki-style, super flavorful. They also had a really tasty salmon dish, though I’m not sure what it’s called. My husband said their lo mein was good too.

As for dessert, they had fruits and sweets, but I wasn’t a big fan. I was also hoping for chicken wings, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any.

The ambiance was better than I expected. It was clean, spacious, and they offer both booths and regular tables. Staff kept the place tidy, clearing plates and even mopping the floor when needed. Just a heads-up: they only give you one set of utensils, so don’t leave your spoon and fork on your empty plate or you won’t get another.

It’s a kid-friendly place. Casual, welcoming, and with small machines near the entrance that have toys or stickers for kids. There’s also enough space for strollers and high chairs. Wheelchair accessibility was good too. There’s an accessible parking lot, entrance, and plenty of room between tables to move around comfortably.
