Right now the lodge is all torn up with construction. The restaurant was open and very nice. I have not stayed in the lodge but I here the rooms are nice.
Love this place. Stayed for our wedding a few years back
Beautiful lodge, beautiful rooms, and beautiful views. Absolutely an amazing place to stay. The restaurant on site was very understaffed and took a while to get seated but was good and decently priced. Would stay here again.

The Peter Kiewit Lodge is a cozy campground lodge located in Mahoney State Park. It features a courteous and knowledgeable staff, making it a welcoming place for visitors. While the facility is currently undergoing renovations, including updates to guest room bathrooms, the lodge remains a fantastic getaway for families with kids to enjoy the great outdoors. The spacious restaurant and bar, which overlooks the river, has been revamped and is now serving great food, including the popular double cheeseburger. While the restaurant may close during certain events, the lodge provides minimal, hotel-style accommodations with private baths. The area is frequented by many native animals, adding to the lodge's charm. It is also handicapped accessible, making it a nice place for the suburban camper.
