“I work here so I might be a little biased. But I frequently attend the bar for food as a customer too when I'm not working. As far as being an employee here, I love it! The owners are amazing! It's great having owners who are invested in their bar and are helping their employees every day, without question. I know that if I'm slammed, Hydi and Steve will be right there with me, serving drinks, stocking beer, filling ice, etc., to help ensure customers get the best service possible. They provide so much support when needed and I have no problem supporting them back by spending every dime they pay me on their tacos every Tuesday 🤣. I also love the small town, family business aspect of working here. The owners extended family is absolutely amazing and always willing to lend a hand if needed as well. It's something you don't see in bigger towns. Hydi and Steve have done an amazing job at updating and remodeling the bar but honoring all of the history and memories that have happened within the walls of this establishment. When I go to the bar as a customer I've always had the best food and service. The steak Philly.... 🤤🤌 The environment is great, music is top notch, and there's always a familiar face in the building. I love hearing customers tell stories of "the good ol' days" and wish I could have been there for some of the stories, but I'm also excited to make new memories at The Otoe Spur with awesome owners and the best customers.”

“We’ve been wanting to visit and were in town on a Friday evening for youth sports and stopped in. Good beer, good food, good service, amazing atmosphere - we felt transformed to a big city or Colorado mountain town. Places like this are writing a new name for small town Nebraska. SO glad we came and can’t wait for our next visit!!!”

“What a treat! Was looking for a place to grab ice cream and decided to give it a try. Boy was it worth it! Cinnamon ice cream by the scoop, Halloween decor to the max, and even antiques for sale at garage sale prices! My boys loved the animatronic werewolf, chocolate chip ice cream and two parks in walking distance. Even from Omaha we may make a special trip back a few times a year!”

“I love this little coffee shop it’s so cute and rustic the people that work there are very kind and they have some delicious drinks for November I don’t come as often as I wish I could, it’s like a monthly treat for me but I love their coffee and all their other drinks and the pastries are delicious, they have so many different drink choices and if you can’t decide ask them what they recommend they’ll never steer you wrong!!!Thank you for your delicious coffee and pastries much love from a local ❤️”

“It was our 1st time eating at a Runza Restaurant, so we asked the gentleman at the drive thru what he recommended. He suggested that we try, I think it was the original or the original with cheese. We took his suggestion and it did not disappoint! They were delicious!”
