I have heard many good things about this restaurant but was never able to make it to their Clatonia location. Now they are even farther away from where I live so unfortunately I will not be able to dine here very often, but I most definitely will from now on whenever I am near Beatrice. As I said, salad bar is very good. Outstanding desserts. I especially like their homemade fruit pies. Food is excellent with owner Ron Tegtmeier doing his best to make your dining experience a great one. Decor is very nice. Like stepping into a different world from the mall to the restaurant. Great staff.

When I found out, years ago, that Legends of Claytonia was closing, I feared that Nebraska was losing a great restaurant forever. I was very pleased to find out they relocated to Beatrice. I believe the owner relocated hoping that being in Beatrice would increase the amount of business they get. For dinner, I ordered the 4 piece chicken dinner with hashbrowns and the option to go through the salad bar 1 time.
