“I've been a regular customer of Izmir Gyro House for almost six years. The owner, Emine, and her staff are always kind and gracious. Most important, though, is that the food is fresh and delicious! “Their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwhiches are amazing. We've had our Phillys every place they offer it (I get it in remembrance of my Step-Dad) and gotta say this place ranks above Firehouse Subs which was one of my favorite places cause their Phillys are good too but here, it's a must try if you are in town!
The Greek lady that helped us was nice too. Atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable. The stuffed animals all on the ceiling makes it a very unique cozy family place as well. It made me smile. 😃“

“So, this isn’t a five-star restaurant — but it’s absolutely one of those hidden gems where the food is so good, you don’t care about anything else. You know those spots where you just know there might be a couple of health code violations waiting to happen, but the food is so 🔥 you forgive it instantly? Yeah, this is that place.

My wife and I had been traveling for three days straight, exhausted and starving, and we needed something close, hearty, and delicious. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a gyro with rice, beans, and potatoes, but you know what? We were hungry and it hit. Hard.

We also ordered a steak, and I’ve never seen a Greek salad with rice and steak, but once again… it hit hard! The flavor, the portions, and the price total win.

It honestly tasted like a home-cooked meal after a long day, the kind that somehow reminds you of leftovers made with love.
