My server seemed to be really off, she fumbled her words, had a hard time answering my questions, (maybe she was nervous) etc. I ordered a martini but she brought me something terrible in a rocks glass! We ordered, the salad bar was amazing!!! Fresh and had several choices. Our meal was another story, our waitress got our order wrong. I wanted chicken parmigiana and I got a sandwich?! She did get it corrected but I had to wait longer. At the end of our meal the manager trish came over to offer apologies. She also brought me the martini I originally asked for that she said she made herself. Awesome!! It was delicious!! She was friendly, chatted with us for a moment and deliver our bill. She didn’t even charge me for the drink! We noticed her guiding our server who was then having issues at another table. I would say we won’t be back but Trish really helped turned our opinion around! She’s definitely a manager who cares! We will give it another try and hopefully just get a more proficient server!“

“Top 3 favorite restaurant!! From the moment we walked in until we left everything was wonderful. The staff is happy and helpful, they were engaging and helped guide us to the right menu options. The cocktails were the best prices I’ve seen in a long time and were delicious!! The food we had was fantastic! The manager stopped by to check on us and was very friendly as well. We had a group that went and we had the Piedmont Manhattan, Duck Duck, Sangria, and Mule for drinks. For apps we had the brussel sprouts and goose bumps (6) which were very generous for appetizers. Finally for dinner we had the herbed salmon sandwich, Italian Dip, and the chicken picatta. To be honest we can’t wait to go back!!!“

“What an amazing dining experience!! We had a party of 7 and our waitress was just phenomenal. She was on top of everything throughout the meal. And such a relaxed atmosphere with high end food. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. The flavors were impeccable and everything went together perfectly. From appetizers, salads, soup, main course and dessert- each bit was melt in your mouth deliciousness. And their drink menu is perfect for anyone's taste. Classic to innovative- their drinks are sure to satisfy. I would definitely recommend trying Cibo Vino out. We will definitely be stopping by again!“

“Veal Parm was excellent. They skimp a bit on the side pasta and salads. Offer a bit more bread. Slightly on the expensive side and I don't like leaving hungry - but my veal was quite good.“

“I drive a lady to Omaha every couple months for Dr Appt and have made the Olive Garden at 75th and Dodge our go to place for lunch. Their soup and salad special with breadsticks is delicious! Their staff has always been very nice and accommodating no matter who waits on us!“

“We just had a gathering of 15 people and the waitress did not know how to separate the orders into the system. Lack of training comes to mind. Having a new person handling that large of a group without being able to split into multiple orders created a lot of fun trying to check out. A year ago we didn’t have any problems. Things change. Fortunately the food still pleases most of the group. I ordered gluten free pizza with extra sauce, didn’t see extra sauce and would prefer a cauliflower crust to what I got (I sure hope it was gluten free). My husband ordered angel hair and got spaghetti. The more experienced staff was getting a sunday off which is good. They seem to be busier than they used to be.“

“My husband and I came here for Veterans day lunch. He thought it would be impossible to get into however they were prepared. There was a 3 minute wait to be seated during this busy time as they have 1 hostess but multiple waitstaff and the managers were out checking everything. They ran like a well oiled machine. Drinks and breads ticks were brought out immediately and food was super quick to the table too. They filled the dinning areas pretty quickly and kept good pace to turn tables over in their favor(and everyone else trying to grab a bite) They noise level was a soft murmer at each table. It was the quietest and coziest meal I've had in a busy place. I will be thrilled to visit this restaurant and location again!

Note: Husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with the meats accessible, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli.

The service has always been positive, helpful, and polite. They also care about their customers. Recently I enjoyed the Wagyu Beef Short Rib and it was great. Their pizza is best in the area as well. Well worth trying it out! You will not regret it.“

“A friend and I dined at Cascio's on Thanksgiving. It was insanely busy, you could sense the pressure the staff was under. They held up wonderfully and provided us with excellent, genuinely friendly service. Ashley was charming. Kudos to her and the rest of the staff. They were working their rear ends off. We had filet mignon and chicken parm, both were delicious. Cascio's is a classic Omaha destination for a reason. Cheers!“

“Mike came and made quite the impression at my daughter's grad party. Everyone RAVED about the food, even went back for 2nds, and many even took another meal home. Super kind, personable (they remembered families names!), and were told it was the best grad party many had ever been to. My neices even want them to be at all her parties. “Personal butchers special - it was good, had a nice golden/brown cheese on top with a decent underbelly to hold it together.

Large cheese ravioli - it was good but not that much flavor going on and same with the marinara sauce. They had a little bit of flavor but other than that mostly just bland.

Overall everything was good. I really enjoyed the pizza and as for the appetizer I might change it up next time.“

OH MY GODDDDD, words do not even correctly express how GOOD the pizza was!! My husband smashed his whole personal and I've only got 2 slices left. Definitely coming back for more, I hope the people in charge give this location a not modern look update, I LOVE the old fashion feel in the air reminds me of my childhood and I want it to stay that way but a small touch up to their signs and advertisements would definitely help I think. I placed an order on Google, and shortly after received a call from Sbarro that they couldn't complete my order due to being understaffed that day. Christy was amazing and promised to make it right, and went above and beyond in doing so. I'm so impressed with this place.

Also, their Spinach Stromboli is in my top 5 favorite foods EVER. I love this place and will be back REPEATEDLY if my current history of doing so says anything ?“

“My husband and I went to a comedy show in the old market and after went to dinner. We are not from Omaha and wanted to try something new. We came across Zio's and went inside. We immediately were asked if we were there "picking up". I said no, and the waitress seemed instantly annoyed. We were seated at a table and ordered two waters. My husband asked if they had a restroom and the waitress gave a snarky reply "yeah, we got one" and then just stood there. My husband had to ask again, "where is it?" and the waitress flung her arm over her shoulder and said back there. Shortly after that we placed our order and I had a question about the toppings on the pizza. I was given a look like I was stupid and a slight eye roll. I asked for half our pizza to not have tomatoes. That request was met with another eye roll as yhe waitress scribbled our order down and walked away without another word. About 15 minutes later our pizza arrived and my husband asked for a parmesan cheese shaker. The waitress was annoyed at the request and made sure to correct him and said, "it's ROMANO not parmesan". She brought the shaker over and left. The waitress did not return once to check on our meal or drinks. We ate quickly as it was clear the restaurant closing for the evening. We asked for our ticket and a box. Being a pizza place, we expected to get a pizza box to take the remaining half of our large pizza home.(other tables had been given pizza boxes to take their leftovers) The waitress brought us a small square Styrofoam box that we had to stack and cram our pizza in to fit. As we left the restaurant we couldn't figure out why the waitress was so annoyed and rude the entire time we were there. After checking the website we found out why- this location closes at 9:30 on Saturday and we arrived around 9:20. Again, we have never visited this establishment before, but saw the lights on, patrons eating, and it smelled delicious so we chose to go in and eat. This had to have been the reason for our servers distain and ire. We arrived while the business was STILL OPEN, ate quickly, and were out the door by 9:57 pm. If this establishment doesn't want to serve customers during their designated hours of operation they should have told us they were no longer seating customers and we would have understood and found a different establishment to eat at. I would have rather gone elsewhere than sit through the terrible attitude and service we received at Zio's. In case a manager sees this review, although we never were given our servers name - she is older (maybe 50's), short, blond hair with a pink glitter extention, and a terrible attitude.“
