“I've been a regular customer of Izmir Gyro House for almost six years. The owner, Emine, and her staff are always kind and gracious. Most important, though, is that the food is fresh and delicious! I could fill up on just the rice, it is so flavorful and good, but then I'd miss out on all the other delicious Mediterranean treats! Highly recommend this place to anyone craving something that isn't standard Midwestern fare.“

“The owner's of Hooyo's have their whole family involved in the preperation and service of great Somali food! From the starter bone broth soup, to the fruity punch, banana, shrimp, goat meat and fufu, it was all very flavorful with just the right balance of spices and seasonings.

“Delicious gyros at a decent price, however, we expected it to be a bit less since it’s more of a fast place than restaurant. Service was a bit slow for a counter service place also. Kind workers and a clean atmosphere but very simple. If I was stopping off I-80, it would be.a good choice rather than BK if you have a little extra time. I didn’t check out the bathrooms, thoogh. Give them a try for no nonsense Greek food.“

“My friends and I have been going to lunch at the location on 114th and Dodge almost every Wednesday for nearly 5 1/2 years where possible. Great food and the staff is extremely friendly. The extra spicy gyro is my meal of choice with the spicy feta and drizzle of Sriracha. But you also can’t go wrong getting the gyro burger (also ask for it extra spicy) as well.“

“A lovely spot with healthy and delicious food and coffee! I stopped in early in the morning on a roadtrip and the vibe was quiet and welcoming and got chatty and bright as the place filled up. Friendly, helpful staff and the food was so good! The prices aren’t cheap, but taste and quality were on point. I had a sourdough scone and toastie and was surprised by how good both were. I’ll definitely stop in next time I come through Omaha!“
