“I usually don't ever make reviews unless told to for a discount or free food item. But the experience I had here was genuinely so amazing that I want to do whatever I can to promote and support this family business. Somalian cuisine is so underrated it's crazy. The chicken and fish that we ordered was so incredibly fresh and well-seasoned, but they also went out of their way to give us complimentary lamb soup, bananas, and fruit juice. The service was so friendly that they literally gave us everything we asked for, including swapping out sides and meat options on our orders. It was really cool to see the parents, sons, and daughters all serving us, and the environment felt so hospitable. Hassan would frequently come check up on us, and it was very fun talking with him and learning about his background. If you guys are reading this, I want to say thank you very much for the amazing, one-of-a-kind service!“

“Chicken Kabob lunch was very good! We were seated and served very quickly. Food was served in a reasonable time frame. We weren't asked if we wanted drink refills, but we also did not ask for refills.
The bill was confusing because the amounts did not match the menu. Apparently they add the restaurant tax to each item?? They also provide a cash or credit card price (They pass the fee to the customer).“

“Delicious gyros at a decent price, however, we expected it to be a bit less since it’s more of a fast place than restaurant. Service was a bit slow for a counter service place also. Kind workers and a clean atmosphere but very simple. If I was stopping off I-80, it would be.a good choice rather than BK if you have a little extra time. I didn’t check out the bathrooms, thoogh. Give them a try for no nonsense Greek food.“

“Great food and portions! I had the chicken souvlaki, Greek potatoes and the salad with Greek dressing and all of it packed great flavor. We also got a Gyro with fries that were great, especially with their yummy tzatziki sauce. Got everything to-go and food also traveled well - particularly the fries which can be hit or miss for takeout at most places. We will be back again for more.“

I could have a chicken shawarma burger everyday for the rest of my life and be set, but it’s always better to come in person and say hello. Very friendly and definitely a staple of the neighborhood. “I found Lola’s Café on OpenTable and chose it based on availability and a few photos, but I truly didn’t know what to expect. What a wonderful surprise. The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.
Our waiter, Alex, was outstanding. You could tell he genuinely loves working there and takes pride in the restaurant. He gave great recommendations and was such a warm, welcoming ambassador for the food and the overall experience.
