“The new Wilber location is amazing! I really loved the beef enchilada and the chicken chimichanga. The refried beans were especially good. The service was also exemplary.”

“We had a Sister Day and started out at the Coffee House. My latte and the blended chi teas that my sisters had were wonderful. The atmosphere and decor were perfect! We were also greeted by several local ladies who welcomed us to Stromsburg. What a great way to start our Sister Day.”

“Went here for the 4th of July 2024. They had a couple blocks shut down so people could light fireworks. Then they had a local guy light off a bunch. Best fireworks show I've seen in a long time!! Better than some professional ones I've gone to!! Definitely recommend Max's bar in Thayer, NE. for fourth of July celebrations. They also serve food and drinks. Had a bunch of free food for the Fourth of July party. Great time in a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere. Great people, good food, good times for anyone looking for a small town bar.

“The amount of times I've been there and have been personally welcomed by the baristas... The atmosphere is chill and calming. It's a homey space away from home, not just a coffee shop. The drinks with flavors have more of a sweet taste, but it's altogether delicious- they can add more coffee/ espresso too ;)) They also have some very scrumptious baked goods available, as they are coffee-centered.”

“Little tasting room. The owner was so nice and welcoming. He allowed me to sample his wines at no extra cost, but I did buy bottles of wine from him and also a glass of wine. There was a little shop next door that you could shop while enjoying your wine.”
