Do you love a delicious steak, beautiful views, and good service? If so, get yourself out to Lois's for The Best Filet. While you're there, treat yourself to a Dirty Shirley and some fried green beans. Thank me later.
Small steak house on the Missouri River with absolutely great steaks. The wedge salad is huge and could be a meal in itself. I had the 8 ounce filet and it was very tender, very tasty and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent even tho the waiter had a Michigan shirt on.Full bar of course with generous pours.I highly recommend the short trip north of Blair to visit this gem.
Was visiting my son near Omaha and decided to try this place based on a trip advisor review. We were not disappointed. Great appetizers, decent salad and we really enjoyed our entrees. My husband had a burger-very obviously handmade and delicious. My son and I had NY Strip steak. Generous and very good. I’ll definitely go back when we’re in town again. Owner came out and talked to us during our meal. Was very friendly. They had outdoor seating on the river which looked nice...
