“I got a sirloin and won't make that mistake again. It was not very tender and not much flavor. However, a few nights prior, we got broasted chicken, and it was excellent. Service both night was excellent and engaging. We had 10 people in out party and they sat us easily and it was to loud or dark. Will be back.“

Dance floor is great, room for a band, plus there's a lot machine and a DJ machine to pick songs. Along with a lot of seating and a pool table for fun while waiting. This bar was packed 3 deep, the bartender acknowledged me right away, understood my order and she threw down! Kudos to that chick because she got it more than right...the first time!“

“Nice neighborhood bar. Very down to Earth… Being a Chicago Native, I was happy to see how much this bar loves the Chicago Cubbies!?? Some beer was being brewed while I was there and I stayed to be introduced to their newest beer… 3-fiddy (350) that’s how they pronounced it! Great IPA not real “hoppy” and has some sort of fruity/citrusy taste to make it a refreshing beer. The Double IPA Brioux is my fav though.

The 2 ladies (I presume they were the bartenders, whereas I believe the rest of the people behind the bar were barbacks) behind the bar were extremely polite, helpful, and go out of their way to talk to you and make sure you are having a good time. They had good knowledge of the whiskeys on hand, and made a great suggestion for a whiskey to try! The rest of the staff is helpful too, but a tad less interactive (this may have just been due to the time I went in, as they did seem busy...) They are a little limited in what cocktails they make, but their style of drinks caters well to the crowd they are targeting. It does seem to be a bar aimed at a young crowd, which is refreshing in a way. Overall, it was a pretty good time! I will definitely have to come back!“

“My husband, and I, pls my best friend, had gone there, for their delicious pizzas, the service was fast, and the waitresses were friendly, and made sure our glasses were always full. The pizzas were amazing!!! They came to us piping hot, within a short time. We’d definitely recommend this place, if anyone wants to eat in downtown Sioux City. We’d definitely be going back, we usually go to Old Chicago, but I’d rather support a local business. And now we know where to go, since we always go downtown, to the Palmers candy store. And you can’t forget their one of a kind decor, lots of old signs, that brings you back, to the good old days.“

“4.0 While a nice crispy waffle, are definitely at best cornmeal waffles. Barely a taste of cornmeal, definitely not cornbread waffles. The bell peppers are red and the skins are all that's there, surmising the flesh disintegrated because so they used frozen chopped. No jalapeno at all that I could taste or see. The andouille was diced way too small, the same amount but a larger dice would have added to the flavor combo. The chicken was prepared perfectly. The gravy was nice and light and didn't compete with the syrup. Syrup didn't come across with a bourbon caramel taste but it was a nice compliment to all the other seasonings. I'll come again and try something new. I had a lovely New Zealand Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc.“
