“I owe a huge apology to Cork & Barrel, I left a review meant for a completely different place. I feel really stupid because I know as someone who ALWAYS checks reviews before going to someplace new or buying something that they really matter. My full apologies please! This place is everything all the other ratings say I've been here three times. The staff is always polite, attentive and have always hit the mark when I've been in. I've only had food one time but it too was top notch. It is truly a great neighborhood pub where you can relax and shake off the stresses of the day.“
“It was a great local bar. It was clean with a nice atmosphere and comfortable chairs, tables and bar. The people were nice. They have a large assortment of bar beverages and a few craft beers on tap too! They have a pool table and many bar snacks available.“

“I was visiting from out of town and the original place I was planning to visit was closed upon my arrival. I walked over to Micek’s to see if they were serving food and I unfortunately had just missed last call. Instead of just turning me and my group away, the bartender told us to hang tight and he’d call another spot so see if they were still serving food (which they confirmed with him on the phone they were). I was blown away by the bartenders kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to help us out. Thanks to him I got to enjoy an awesome evening.“
“Great Pizza. Cold beers. Roadhouse feel. Good for families and a great destination for road trips. Definitely off the beaten path. Don't expect quick service, imports, or micro-brews and you'll be just fine. Just sit down, order a Bud Light/Miller Lite/Coors Light and relax. Apparently, don't drink the water. Warning signs by each table. I would guess that includes the ice in the mixed drinks. (Reminds me of Mexico.) And, do not, under any circumstances not involving death by starvation, do not order a hamburger. It's pizza and beer only. Don't say you weren't warned. Get a deep dish pizza, and you could probably feed a family of four. Head straight west from the Seven Mile Mini Mart on US-81, when you run out of pavement, your there.“
“Popped in for drinks after our hotel bar closed and enjoyed it. The waitress we had was very attentive, kind, and pleasant (short blonde hair and glasses). Very good prices too! Wouldn't mind popping in again on another stop through town. **cash only which kind of sucked but perhaps that assists with the reasonable prices“
“Fun bar right off Highway 30 on the east side of Columbus. They have live music a lot and it’s always a good time. In the summer time they have a beer garden open and bands play outside. Shenanigans is off the beaten path but worth the drive just a bit out of town.“
“The owner Tiffany is fabulous!!! What a worker!! The staff is amazing as well!! Got stuck here in a snow storm from MI. The best place to be if you're stuck. Drinks and food is wonderful! Highly recommend this places. See you again in 2 wks.“
“I'm from Omaha and used to pricier dining--this was a great meal for the value! We spent $70 with 2 entrees, 2 cocktails, and 2 beers. Definitely well worth it! The sausage chili was good, nothing exceptional. The ribeye was a very interesting special and turned out great. Love the creativity! It was pretty fatty, so I cut off a few ounces, and was on the thinner side, but cooked perfectly and very juicy. The bruschetta topping was great as well. The Chambord kiss tasted amazing--but it seemed like they probably forgot the vodka! I had a lemon drop afterward and this was plenty strong to make up for it. Not pictured was the Red Rock beer we tried--this may be my new favorite beer! A copper colored wheat beer with a great flavor and after taste. Overall an excellent value. The atmosphere was busy, and on the nicer side for Columbus, yet very casual--you could wear anything and fit in. The service was good but it did take 50 minutes for our food to come out which was surprising. Definitely a good spot that I will be back to, I love the variety in the cocktail and special menus!“
“I really enjoyed my visit here to the oldest Tavern in Nebraska! The food I had was simple but great! I had some Nebraska brewed beer and some chilli dogs and fries. The owner was there working and I had some great conversation with him. This is what really makes these places special! I tried the Bloody Mary and if you're a fan of this particular cocktail I'd suggest you give this one a try. It was right up there with the best of the best that I've had during my travels.“
