“Our family of 12 celebrated a birthday in their private room. A server was assigned to us and did an excellent job. Part of our family was from a very large city; out of state location. They were impressed! The menu has a variety of selections to please everyone’s taste. We will go again!“
“I came here a week ago and can’t believe I’ve never been before! The atmosphere is very calming and I think it would be a great place for studying. I went here with my grandma for lunch and it was a wonderful place to sit and talk.I loved their coffee, and I’m pretty picky with coffee. Their espresso had a nice taste and my latte was beautifully made. The avocado toast I had was most definitely the best avo toast I’ve ever had. The seasoning was great, you could tell the avocado was fresh and the egg on top was also wonderful. The service was nice as well, and the people behind the counter were very kind and efficient. Lovely place that I recommend!“
“Stumbled in from out of town and what a treat. Awesome staff; incredible drinks (highly recommend trying their fall specific menu) and just happened to have some live music which is always a plus. The man on the mike played some cover folk and rock songs and it made for a great night.“
“We really upped our cocktail skills during The 'Rona and now Pour is one of the few places in Lincoln that makes a better one. Add to that the two dozen taps of great beer that could be from anywhere in the world, and this southeast Lincoln bar is one of the best in town.Parking: You can use the space out front shared with other businesses, but the regulars use the larger back lot and come in the back door.Wheelchair accessibility: This is a ground-level business with ADA curbs and doors.“
“Best of small town bar feel within the big city. Best bar food and at a bar price. Great service and staff. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because small town bars aren’t supposed to have 5 stars. That would ruin the feel! Definitely will be back!!!! So glad we gave it a try.“
“Went and watched a live bands tonight! All knowing McGill and Watson & Co. Pretty chill atmosphere. I'm not a drinker so I had a few red bulls by the can. Bartender was pretty awesome and they had some Merch available. Wasn't sure how I'd feel with a bunch of drunk people but it was pretty under control. Lol. Must be because we were all old. Hahaha. Super Cute Pup was a bonus. Might just have to go for the next round of music.“
“There's should be a place in every town where you can enjoy a Miller High Life on tap. And it's quality price? Definitely! They have pinball you say? Fo Sho.5hey open at 2:00 in the afternoon? It's 5:00 somewhere.Hippies allowed. Smoking section on the patio.Vegetarian options: Beer generally Is not gluten free.Dietary restrictions: May contain alcohol and a good time.Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth ride in and out, sans stairs.“
“We contacted Arnold's - because we love the Havelock Historic area and loved the idea of the Joyo Theater Marquee across the street -to celebrate our daughter's engagement! We were not disappointed!!! GREAT, clean, vintage venue! AMAZING staff- Jenny the GM, Caley, & Abby can manage the party from behind the bar, and they did, without a problem! Owner Jason Olberding even stopped in to be sure everything was as it should be!Highly recommend for an evening of drinks, or for your celebrations“
“I am very impressed with this restaurant! We are new customers new to the area and wanted to try something new and have found one of go to restaurants now! The food was great, came out hot and fast, the music was awesome too! Our waitress was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to come “
“First time trying this place. I was impressed with the atmosphere. I am simple & don't appreciate loud music blaring. This place was quiet & seating was not crowded to where you're elbow to elbow with your table neighbor. Our server was very new & did a good job with this being her first job of this nature. *Kudos's Santanna. The portion size to be honest, was surprisingly nice. The menu is not over bearing with decent choices. The cost for a family of four with a "dad beer" & soft drinks didn't break the bank. I would go into detail of our food choices but this would be super long and boring. I will mention their bread pudding is delicious. I recommend trying it and getting an order to go as well. Yummy!. I will be going back & trying other menu items!!“
“Really enjoyed my time here. The food was great and the service was excellent as well. We arrived around 915pm without realizing they closed at 930pm. Everyone was so polite. They didn't try to rush us or push us out considering they were already closed. Only reason I rated them a 4/5 is because the margarita was a little too thick and on the syrupy side. I will definitely be back“
“My boyfriend and I decided to try this while we were walking by and we're SO glad we did. I tried the chili a bread bowl with a grilled cheese and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the cream of potato bacon soup in a bread bowl and he loved it. Highly recommend!Extra points for being cheap and having amazing music.“
“We love The Other Room. We live five hours away and still make it a priority to stop by The Other Room any time we are in Lincoln (2-3 times per year). The drink menus are always very thoughtfully designed and the drink profiles are creative and sophisticated. The staff are continuously cool and we’ve often met great people while hanging out there.Highly recommend.“
“OMG AMBER KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PART WITH SERVICE,PERSONALLY, ATMOSPHERE PERFECTION ? AND THE AMOUT OF WORK SHE DID FOR THE VALENTINES PARTY IS SUPER AMAZING IF UR IN THIS TOWN AND NEED A DRINK EVEN SOME FOOD STOP BY U WILL DEFINITELY ENJOY UR SELF.“
“One of my favorite places to grab a drink in Lincoln when the weather is nice. The indoor part of the bar itself is pretty small but being able to take your beverage out into the courtyard is the best part of this place. No beer on tap but they have a decent beer selection.Outside they have some tables with propane heaters so if the weather changes you can have a nice fire going.“
“This is a nice bar, with affordable drinks and friendly staff. It’s not usually too crowded and they have games to play as well! It’s far enough from the “bar crawl” bars to not usually have the drunks and college kids hanging out. It’s a good bar to visit with friends. Oh! And they have free popcorn.“
“I had a fantastic interaction with the bar tenders tonight, there was a social situation that got out of hand and they had to kick people out of the bathroom, the bar tender took time to pull my aside and apologize about the situation and make sure I was okay. It was greatly appreciated. The environment was extremely comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make our company outing fantastic! I will definitely be returning and can't wait to see y'all again!!“
“Literally the BEST bar ever!! All the staff are SO friendly and accepting of everyone, unless you’re a pos bigot. Always such a positive and fun vibe in the bar. Oh, and the owner?! The absolute most kind hearted person you could ever meet! If you’re gonna go out, go to 1867!!“
“Absolutely a place to go in Lincoln! They have great appetizer/shareable options that were definitely a fan favorite & very reasonably priced. The number of speciality mules they have is so fun, and the decor is perfect for the space. I called ahead to see if they’d host an engagement party for a larger group (on a weeknight) & they were super accommodating. One of likely few locations that won’t charge a fee. Perfect space to gather!“
“The Social Hall is the perfect (and affordable) place to hold your private gathering! Family reunions, wedding/funeral receptions, business meetings, birthday parties and more...You can bring your own food or order from the menu at 1st Ave. There is a stage if you want to have a band or DJ, plenty of tables and seating, easy access to 1st Avenue's full bar.Make reservations by calling 1st Avenue.“
“I had a great time! I’ve been there a few times and the guy who checks IDs is always very respectful !! And the staff in the inside is just as amazing! A great price great people and I LOVE the atmosphere! 10/10 would recommend to my friends !! And anyone else looking for a good time !“
“El Portero is a wonderful option for south central Lincoln. Located in the Williamsburg neighborhood they offer authentic Mexican cuisine at fair prices with a great taste. My suggestion pass on the normal margarita and go with the higher priced Blue Agave, its to die for. Happy eating.Kid-friendliness: I saw lots of families last time. Kids portions available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access here folks“
“One of Lincolns great neighborhood bars. Located just off S. 33rd and Stockwell St. This small bar is generally always half full. It’s dark inside so let your eyes adjust to its sultry ambience. The drinks are great and always lean towards the slightly stiff side. Service is great. They have an attached liquor store that can be convenient if the situation is ripe for more drinks at home.“
“If you want a place to go and feel comfortable and have a good time Ejs is it. The new owners and staff are great! The food is excellent! We just had the stadium nachos it has homemade Pico and homemade salsa. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are the bomb!!!!!“
“If you ever want have an amazing time with your friends playing pool singing Karaoke or just hanging out then the Beacon is the place to be.Monday night is free pool night just ask the people at the bar to open the tables in the back up for you and you can play till you drop. They are open every night but Sunday and always play the football game for the Husker Fans. They have pizza and French fries chicken strips and great drinks. The bar tenders are best people around here. The bar is clean and the Karaoke DJs are amazing and fun. So if you are looking to have an amazing time Monday through Saturday then head on in.“
“Sunday night Karaoke is a blast, great company. the beer, seltzer and liquor selections are vast. Plus the bartender is knowledgeable and hot.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp front door, most people will open the door if they see you coming.“
“A great little bar. I stopped in while visiting town. It was an easy 3 min walk from the Cornhusker Hotel. The bartender was fast and friendly. Drinks were very reasonable and there were plenty of TVs to watch the game. Also, it's away from the craziness of Hay Market but in the downtown area. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely stop in again.“
“Ive been going tonJacks on Sundays for their tacos! 50¢ hard shells are the bomb, plus the free salsa bar really makes it. The bartenders are usually pretty friendly, though there is on occasion one who gets stuck with a particular friend or on their phone.“
“This bar is such a nice laid back, close to home place which we enjoy going to. The staff is friendly and always remembers us. We run into regular friends and karaoke singers on friday nights, which is always a great and fun time. Rebecca that runs Karaoke Kraze has been a wonderful friend and have loved going to her shows for many years now.“
“Julia is a stellar bartender with a magnetic personality and unparalleled skills when it comes to crafting the perfect lemon drop cocktail. Her friendly demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit to the bar an enjoyable experience. If you're in need of a delicious drink and some great conversation, Julia is the one to see!“
“This bar rocks. No drink specials. But it makes up for that with no cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights with some of the best bands in the Lincoln Area . Last Minute Band, Levi Williams, Hell Toupee, The Victims, and Them Other Dudes plus many others. They offer open mic night on Wednesday for those that are trying to get there name out there or just to practice and have fun. It is like a small town bar located in the downtown Historical Havelock which has its omnionse. Plenty of fun with shuffle board and pool. Video arcade bowling and a large fenced in beer garden to enjoy while socializing with friends and family ...who ever said it was rude and garbage like there band must of really sucked ... Come see how much fun it is for yourself you won't be let down.....“
“Came into town with 8 people for a concert down the street, and decided to stop at Top Hat Tavern. It was such a great time. We put dollars on the ceiling and met a bunch of really nice people. 10/10 recommend. Everyone was super friendly even though we were a rowdy bunch of out of Towner's!“
“Was looking for a place to unwind after work. Wanted something with lower energy. Found exactly that at Harry's Wonder Bar. A smaller group of people, drinks were priced way better than I was expecting. I'll definitely be returning here more often. All three bartenders were incredibly nice and helpful. Clean bathrooms.5/5 experience“
“We’re from out of town and just stopped at the first place we saw. The grilled chicken sandwich was amazing as well as the cheese curds. The staff was friendly and very attentive, and the music wasn’t super loud which was pleasantVegetarian options: Vegetarian BurgerDietary restrictions: Gluten Free options“
“I'm in town for work. I was hungry. I was hesitant. A steak house at the hotel. Reviews were good. My expectations were low on the food, high on the drinks. Let's start with I was SHOCKED!!!Bourbon was of course amazing. Confirmed. Had a barrel mule (Kentucky mule /bourbon mule if you don't know what that is). Fantastic.Food. Honestly, one of the better steaks I've had at restaurant. In the top 10 for sure. I'm a steak snob. Usually, I'm disappointed when I get restaurant steak. Single Barrel delivered! The sirloin was amazing. Ordered Medium Rare. On point!! Side salad was delicious. As was the mashed potatoes with the sirloin.Service was great. Everything about it. I'd recommend and come back.“
“Food is very tasty and fresh. Always hot, never cold. Good music and TVs everywhere love going to this bar. The only negative thing is that sometimes the staff gets overwhelmed with customers, and the food takes a while to come out.Kid-friendliness: Staff are friendly and kids are more than welcome“
“Great music and overall service! The downside is the dance floor is small and secluded in the back. The bar is nice but you def don't have enough staff for the amount of attention your establishment draws!! It waited almost 40 minutes for a drink!! A few minor changes could make quite change in this place!“
“Fun place. There was a festival going on earlier that we missed but we stopped by after our show. Don't skip ordering a pretzel! Very fresh and I think hand made. Easily the best pretzel I have had. Lot of beer selection. I would recommend their Dunkel. I know I will order it again.“
