“July 19. 8 adults and 2 tween girls. 10am ish. Did breakfast items. Lived up to previous reviews! Handled our unexpected largish group. Servings were more than “enough” and satisfying. Will be returning and trying more on the menu!“

“If you are just looking for a simple bar with good service and company, this is the place. This isn't the $10+ drinks and fancy atmosphere type of place. Set expectations accordingly. They do have darts, pool, keno and gambling machines.“

“One of those bars where everybody knows your name but if they don't they still welcome you as if they did know your name. That's not always said about non-corporate bars like this. It is cash only which I respect there is an ATM there if you only have your debit card on you. Drinks seem to be perfectly poured every time and the bartender is always attentive. There is also entertainment as far as gaming and other activities. It's nice just to go in there and have a drink or two they also have Keno... So I highly recommend if you just want a good drink with good service in a chill environment“

I ordered the famine special and the marched stench (the person) out of the freezer, shackles, potato sack, and all with hot branding irons poking him throughout the restaurant. the atmosphere was awesome, they used the lights to blind stench while the employees ordered me to kick him in the stomach.Stench is a horrible little goblin who is gaunt, pale, and starved. he deserves this for stealing from the cash register. they dangle him from the ceiling in shackles and on weekends you can go in and beat the hell out of him. of course this is before the bar rebranded, now they have to call stench "skippy" and they gave an aviator jacket. ahh the memories of the famine special I truly cannot recommend the famine special or this tavern more.P.S. if you slide the owners a handsome sum of cash, you can rip apart "Skippy" and eat himthe photo below is of stench

The lady that helped me was absolutely AMAZING (sorry I didn’t catch your name)! She confirmed with kitchen staff that they could have it ready by 11:15am and I tell you they had it ready to go and perfect!!! The cider itself was diverse in flavor and incredibly well-done; nothing was overly saccharine nor putrid. “My experience at the casual pint was all about beer. Sorry I can't comment on the food.

For beers on tap I was able to find all the info I needed to make my decisions. I tried three darker beers. All of their selections were good. I did get help from a barkeep on a pumpkin ale. He was spot on. One of the best. It made me feel like they select their tap beer on quality.

Besides the tap beer they have a ridiculous amount of beer cans and bottles either for take away or in house consumption.

Excellent experience on a Friday afternoon. It made me wonder where other casual pints exist. I'm hoping one comes to South KC.“

“Emmets is a local drinking hole to many so the conversations are lively and the drinks are strong. Emma and Rob are two of the best bartenders in the game. They’re fast and courteous with all patrons. Comedy shows happen at 7PM Sunday and Tuesday in the side room if you need a laugh. I recommend this spot.“

“Much like Nebraska's slogan, honestly it's not for everyone, so is Rose and crown. I'm not sure who folks are referring to as e, but there was a fellow by the first name that started with an E that jumped in whenever my lady was having a heat stroke on yhe smoking patio. We had been there a couple of times before in the past, and rather enjoyed it. The inside is a little cramped, which is the reason why we stay outside. Had my first experience of using the bathroom with a female in the same bathroom at this place, LOL just like everywhere else on earth, there are some people you don't want to socialize with, and others that you would want to socialize with. You have to use your discretion and your big adult words to thwart unwanted company. As for any complaints about the staff in bartender, everyone has good and bad days, I can only imagine how many bad days there would be working at the bar with a bunch of Alcoholics potentially. We have never had a problem, we treat people respectfully and then we are treated with respect back. As it should be.“

Crazy dan still serves and works here lol.but ultimately I recommend this place a thousand times over. Gracie and Dan have always been my favorite. insane customer service and bartender skills.
