“We had my husband's retirement party here! It's great food, generous portions, lots of room, nice atmosphere, they let me come in early to decorate, waitress Lindsey was on top of it and we had 9 people, medium prices but everything's gone up. So to be expected. We had a terrific time. It was our first time eating there it won't be our last!“

“Best of small town bar feel within the big city. Best bar food and at a bar price. Great service and staff. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because small town bars aren’t supposed to have 5 stars. That would ruin the feel! Definitely will be back!!!! So glad we gave it a try.“

“When we walked in it was basically empty but probably because we came at an odd time. Sports bar under another building kinda dark but not in a bad way. The guy that waited on us was friendly and attentive. I thought the food was good. My wife had the jiffy burger that has peanut butter and bacon she loved it. I had garlic parmesan wings the sauce was good. We both had tots that were crispy. I would come back for good bar food.“

Barrymore's Cocktail Bar • $
124 N 13th St, Lincoln

“Barrymores, a clandestine haven tucked away in the labyrinthine depths of an old historic theater, beckons those who dare to venture beyond the mundane façade of everyday life. Within the enigmatic ambiance of its backstage area, where stage ropes dance in the dimly lit shadows and lighting consoles whisper forgotten tales, I found a curious blend of nihilistic contemplation and ephemeral delight. The bartender, a conductor orchestrating the symphony of spirits amidst the cosmic chaos, skillfully navigated the treacherous currents of existence. Their attentive presence, like a solitary candle flickering in the abyss, cast a faint glow upon the existential void. With each cocktail meticulously crafted, they defied the futility of our existence and imbued a fleeting purpose into every sip.For within the enigmatic embrace of Barrymores, where the stage ropes whisper forgotten sagas and the lighting console paints the tapestry of existence, one may catch a fleeting glimpse of meaning in this grand cosmic theater.May your voyage through this cosmic drama be filled with existential reflection and the bittersweet ecstasy of perfectly crafted libations.“

“Delicious and very reasonably priced for what you get! I ordered an appetizer of beef nachos, a fruit cup and iced tea. The total was less than $16. Lots of activities and outside beach volleyball court. Labeled as a bar and grill, but it's very open and has a restaurant feel over a bar feel.“

“Staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was good, but I wouldn't recommend the Jamaica j*** wings. They were very messy, and I just wasn't a fan of the flavor. “Went on St Patty's Day, late afternoon. We enjoyed the live music, the beers were cold, just nice and relaxing. The only issue was one of our pizza's. 2 of them were great, the third was dry, thick and seem "slight" on the toppings. We'd come back again, may not order a pizza, but there are so many choices, I'm sure we'll find a favorite food next time.“

“Thalia and Zoe are lifesavers. We had a reservation for 20 that we made an hour ahead of time, and Thalia was the absolute best helping us out with booths. She is such a great worker and always had a smile on her face. Zoe came by to our 3 booths to always make sure our glasses were filled with alcohol, and they sure were because of her great service. This was our first time here, and we will definitely be back because of them!! Thank you girls❤️“

“I'm reluctant to give up the details of this little secret. Hawk's Nest has been a breath of fresh air for our part of town. Considering it's a sports bar, you'd expect a menu packed with fried food. That's definitely not this place. You'll find unique menu pairings with a drive to avoid the "normal". You'll quickly latch on to a favorite. Some of ours are: turkey sando, hot honey pepperoni pizza, pork butt bites, any of the bowls, a big juicy burger, cookie skillet. Expect something new every time you come in. Jason and his team are always coming up with the best concoctions. Speaking of Jason...you can just tell people enjoy working for him. Seriously rare in this industry that the wait staff truly look like they are enjoying their jobs and clearly treated well. Keno is hot, beer is cold, food is suberb, and the vibe is spot-on.“

“We stayed at the Cornhusker hotel and visited the pub and grill twice. The first time was for appetizers and drinks. We had nachos and cheese curds. Someone in our party said the cheese curds were the best they’ve ever had. During our second visit, it was late at night and we had a few drinks. One of us wanted a hot chocolate with a shot of rum chata. We weren’t sure if the bar would make a hot chocolate but they did it for us! Would return!“
