I had a very good experience here at Applebees on 40th and Old Cheney. Of all the Applebees here, the vibe is the best. Charly was our server, she was very friendly and really attentive. You could tell she was good with the public, we need more workers like her, as customer service tends to be a lack, however she was completely opposite, and I am glad she was also apart of our dining experience. This is a nice comfortable place with a wide variety of menu choices the servers are knowledgeable and friendly, foods great and the noise level is normal. The desserts are exceptional!

Applebee's Grill + Bar offers good food, but service can be hit or miss. On a slow Mother's Day evening, food took a long time to arrive, and drinks were forgotten. On a Friday afternoon, however, service was impressive, with friendly hosts and quick order-taking. Some customers noted that the restaurant can be quite cold, making it uncomfortable to take off coats while eating, even on chilly days. Others experienced delays, such as ordering at 6 pm for pickup that was ready after 7, and issues with the app for pickup not working. The burger specials were cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious, and the waiter was attentive and kind. Overall, the food is fine, but the experience can be average, and the atmosphere may sometimes feel too chilly.
