“Short trip to Nebraska and we found this great place! Very good environment, casual but give you the up scale feeling. Eric was our waiter and he did a great job of checking on us and was very friendly. Had their lunch starter bruschetta (was fire) and a French onion soup. Hubby had salmon with asparagus and lobster bisque and I had chicken fetucini in lemon Alfredo. And for dessert (wich they brought all option plated to the table, very nice touch for sale) we had some torched at the table side creme brulee. All food was fabulous! Had a few cocktails crazy horse, lemon drop, coconut mango mojito, also good, they blend mango for drinks.“
“We tried this restaurant while visiting in Lincoln. Grilled chicken on the California Dreamin' with house fries. Sandwich was pretty good, along with a side of ranch. Service was pretty good. The lemon drop martinis needed to be filled to the top they were 75% full; had to be a double shot for it to be filled to the top. Other than that, had a nice time.“
“It has been several years since we've been able to dine here again but we used to be regulars many years ago. I was nervous that the changes would be too much, but everything we ordered was outstanding. We started with the vanilla sesame brioche with hot honey butter (yum!) and the duck fat potatoes w/ chorizo, and hollandaise pickled mustard seed, arugula, radish and all of these flavors made an incredible dish! So delicious. My husband had the grilled striploin w/ leek confit, pickled blackberry, ricotta and I had the miso glazed salmon w/ kimchi rice cake, cabbage slaw, and charred scallion dashi. Presentation was beautiful and the bite of salmon with the crispy rice cake was an unexpected treat. We ended with ice cream for dessert. Our server missed that we ordered the pistachio chocolate tart and instead brought us one of each of the ice creams we were deciding between, but we didn't correct and enjoyed them both. Overall an awesome dinner and hope to be back again soon.“
“We had a work team dinner at Billy's (20 people) and really enjoyed the food, service, and environment. Jordan, the server, was amazing and attentive to our table. I was so impressed at how aligned food service was for a party as large as ours - everyone's food (ribeyes, chicken, fish, pasta) came out at the same time. I had the ribeye and it was a great cut cooked perfectly. The decor and environment is very unique - it's an historic home converted to a restaurant. I am from out of town so hadn't had a chance to scope it out. I was kind of going in blind but everyone had a great time and I was very happy we chose Billy's. I'd recommend for a fun group dinner.“
“We went for a date night dinner and enjoyed our experience. We ordered the pork ribeye, the scallops, an appetizer and a few drinks. All of the food was perfectly cooked and the flavors were delightful. Our server was attentive and the food was served promptly. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for a nice business-casual dinner. We will be back.“
“I walked into the small cafe. I was able to sit down right away because I came around brunch. Sitting down and looking around it looked clean! Talked with them about the maps on the wall. People put pins in Where they from. Someone from every state has been here and countless countries! All the food on nearby tables looked very appetizing! I had Chicken Fried Steak and a Biscuit and Gravy! It was great food. Had prompt service on drinks and food! 5 Stars!!!!! Very Very Affordable!!“
“Burgers and Parmesan fries! Delish!!!Need a treat from Sasquatch Bakery. Abe's has them too!Vegetarian options: I suggest calling the restaurant for more information.Dietary restrictions: I suggest calling the restaurant for more information.Parking: Other businesses share the parking lotKid-friendliness: Bring the kidsWheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair could get around the restaurant.“
“Standing ovation! Our experience was fabulous from start to finish. Quaint romantic atmosphere, excellent service and the food was outstanding! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try some of the other entrees. Everything looked so good!!!“
“I enjoyed the food, especially the burger, which stands out as one of my favorites in Nebraska. The fries were good too. However, the milkshake could use improvement, it tasted like something easily made at home with inexpensive ingredients. Despite that, I'd return to try other items on the menu.“
“We had my husband's retirement party here! It's great food, generous portions, lots of room, nice atmosphere, they let me come in early to decorate, waitress Lindsey was on top of it and we had 9 people, medium prices but everything's gone up. So to be expected. We had a terrific time. It was our first time eating there it won't be our last!“
“Visited on a Saturday about noon. The place was packed with people.Food arrived a bit cold but was good.I had the Penelope's Combo for something like $12. Chicken fried steak, gravy, pancakes, eggs,Parking: Apparently the virtually always empty coin car wash has problems with people parking from Penelope's as there are lots of we tow signs in the common lot and a warning on Penelope's door about the towing.“
“First time customer at Tina’s and they did not disappoint! Husband and I walked in a little after 8am on a Saturday morning, only spots left were at the bar and one large table.Food: 5* We ordered the cinnamon roll to share and wow it’s huge! The picture is what we had leftover to take home!Their hash browns are legit the best I’ve ever had. I asked the waitress if they were fresh shaved potatoes (they are) , and she was able to proudly explain the process to me. Chicken fried steak was great as well.Service: 5* The waitresses working were very attentive, both would ask if we needed anything as they walked by. Super friendly and personable!Atmosphere: 5* Clearly some racing fans decorated! Love the small diner feel with the atmosphere.Side note, be sure to check hours before going! Posted hours are closed after 2pm M-F. Closed on Sundays and have a short open time for Saturday!Parking: Only a few spots to park in front of building, however there is additional parking in the back, or on side streets for large vehicles.“
“Have only been there three times. First time was a football Saturday and the cozy but large horseshoe granite bar still had open seating. The patrons shuffled to put two chairs together. Within an hour we made new friends. Discovered several old ones and had a ball. We ordered the fried dill pickles (spears) and they were amazing. Second time was a Wednesday around 3:00 pm and again the bar was our sitting destination. Very reasonable priced drinks and great staff and experience. Pickles again? Yes and this time we added portabella mushroom fries. Seriously amazing with ranch, that good old standby. Third time was Sunday. Again crowd was fun. No eating that day but $1 off drinks. This is our new place to hang, meet people and make friends. There's keno, pull-tabs, pool and gambling games. Kid friendly and adult approved.“
“Mallory's a terrific server. She did everything right and made sure my dietary allergies were noted and assured me my meal would be perfect. She is very thorough and helpful You do need to have a lactose free dessert option available such as a sorbet or cookies“
“My husband and I visited our son, daughter in law, and grandson and had dinner. The food and service were both excellent! Delilah waited our table and she was very cordial and did an excellent job. We selected the date night items on the menu all items were great!!! The blueberry bread pudding was the best I have ever eaten!!!! Already looking forward to my next visit and JTK will be on top of my list to dine!!!! Thanks….“
“First time trying this place. I was impressed with the atmosphere. I am simple & don't appreciate loud music blaring. This place was quiet & seating was not crowded to where you're elbow to elbow with your table neighbor. Our server was very new & did a good job with this being her first job of this nature. *Kudos's Santanna. The portion size to be honest, was surprisingly nice. The menu is not over bearing with decent choices. The cost for a family of four with a "dad beer" & soft drinks didn't break the bank. I would go into detail of our food choices but this would be super long and boring. I will mention their bread pudding is delicious. I recommend trying it and getting an order to go as well. Yummy!. I will be going back & trying other menu items!!“
“My boyfriend and I go here all the time, fried ice cream is our favorite and the Hawaiian 5.0 is my favorite burger and the smokehouse Mac n cheese is good too! They did put some raspberry puree on our fried ice cream for Valentine’s Day and we did not care for it, they replaced them for us. 5 stars all around!!“
“All of our special events we come here. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Promotions etc. It's warm, welcoming and personable. The Cactus Blossom and Rolls with honey butter are so good!!We always get steak with either loaded baked potato or sweet potatoes. Green beans like my grandma made. We always order a large steak so we can have leftovers to take home.I HAVE to have a cold (still melts in my mouth) breakfast steak sandwich from here. I look forward to it as much as I do when our wait staff first brings it out to us. It's THAT good!!Thanks you all, we never leave disappointed!!?Parking: Parking is usually not a problem as we are usually early birds.“
“My boyfriend and I usually share the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, which is delicious! My boyfriend tried the creamy parmesan gnocchi, which he thought was okay. He's not a huge fan of nutmeg and there was a generous amount of top so he didn't like it much. The cream sauce was really good though!“
“The customer service at the Eatery is outstanding. I was not satisfied with my omelette, I let my waitress know and she went and got the manager with no problem. The manager came over, I expressed to him the dissatisfaction and he immediately insisted on making me another omelette. The omelette the manager brought me was amazingly great. I appreciate the service and because of this. I will be back! Thank you!“
“Jake and Brad were super nice to my husband and I as we came in while our dog was at the emergency vet as she ripped herself open on a bolt off the chainlink fence. They both tried to keep our minds off her while she was getting fixed. She is doing well with 22 stitches. We will be back!“
“Press Box has the absolute best food! So many great options and they are all so good! The service is beyond amazing! Everyone there is so friendly and makes our twice a week visits so fun! They set us up for a great day every single time!“
“They are so friendly to work with, accommodate last minute requests, and of course their food is amazing!! We ordered the Greek buffet, again, and the office loved it. Plenty of extras, only the freshest ingredients used and they even set it up for us! Thanks again to Jake, Jarren, Joelle & the rest of the crew!“
“I checked out Tavern 180 tonight for dinner. I had the Blue Cheese Burger and Brandi had the Wagyu Burger. To say it was delicious would be an understatement. The atmosphere was upscale casual and the staff A+. Definitely a place to go again and again.“
“Me & the hubby have been going to Lead Bellys for a couple years now & we didn't think we were gonna find a place that could compete with it...but we were wrong. Toast is amazing! Their food, atmosphere, & the customer service was great. Was seated right away & helped immediately. Will definitely be back.“
“Love visiting on a quiet weekday morning. My favorites are the farm egg breakfast sandwich (plus bacon, of course), and the chicken bulgogi tacos. ? After a hearty meal, there is always the option to go for a walk along the trails right next to the cafe. ?“
“Everything is perfect. The music is just a little loud for sensitive ears. The potato soup is the best along side with fries and a couple of chicken strips.Kid-friendliness: My 10 yo loves the atmosphere, fries and tall booths. If only she would try the meats, then I would be a super happy momma.“
“When we walked in it was basically empty but probably because we came at an odd time. Sports bar under another building kinda dark but not in a bad way. The guy that waited on us was friendly and attentive. I thought the food was good. My wife had the jiffy burger that has peanut butter and bacon she loved it. I had garlic parmesan wings the sauce was good. We both had tots that were crispy. I would come back for good bar food.“
“Spreading MORE local love! At Nebraska Family Dentistry, we know the importance of keeping smiles bright and healthy. But this holiday season, we wanted to spread another kind of joy: gift cards to delicious places in Lincoln...and this time it was Hacienda Real!Hacienda Real is more than just a restaurant; it's a vibrant hub of the community, bringing warmth and flavor to our city. They share our values of supporting locals, using fresh ingredients, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like family. Huge thank you for being a great asset to our community!“
“My husband & I ate here last night for the 1st time in years (around 8-10). We had a bad experience with this restaurant at that time. We eat out often & we always ignore Chedder's until last night & I must say, the dinner experience was superb. Fantastic service (wish I could remember the waiter's name). The food was great. We ordered the trio sampler & could have been full just from that (more than enough for an appetizer). He had the Steak & ribs - both so tender & good. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken & must say the best I've ever had. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food we got. We will be back for sure!! Oh and the Croissants - WOW, so good.“
“This place RULES. If you are hungry, the portions are big. Dusti was my server and she was efficient and sweet. The prices are extremely low, especially for a truck stop. Salad bar w soup available. They put their pot roast on the French dip and it's a lot. The chili is really flavorful and hearty, a nice amount of spice. Always find parking here. Love this place when passing thru Neb.“
“Great find. Hidden treasure. Can't fault the food home made burgers and very tasty. If you're a plane, Air Force, military aircraft fan...added bonus for a sit down meal great models and decor. Only fault I found waS slightly overpriced fries. But they too were fresh and great fries. Three ate in and I ended up taking order home to husband.“
“Screamers is great for all ages. One of the first times we went our children were getting a little antsy(as kids do) and so when one of the servers/performers went up for their song, they did a song from Frozen! Will always recommend screamers. Plenty of space, great food, and a staff that is always looking to make your time a memorable and enjoyable one.“
“Went on St Patty's Day, late afternoon. We enjoyed the live music, the beers were cold, just nice and relaxing. The only issue was one of our pizza's. 2 of them were great, the third was dry, thick and seem "slight" on the toppings. We'd come back again, may not order a pizza, but there are so many choices, I'm sure we'll find a favorite food next time.“
“This is a beautiful Runza, and the customer service is superb! Food was made just right. We purchased frozen Runzas to be picked up the next day on our way out of town. Manger was very helpful in helping us get those Runzas before they opened. Wonderful experience all around. Thank you Runza!Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere is fun, with exciting wall paper and carpeting. Very modern. Beautiful!Parking: Tons of parking. In walking distance of hotelWheelchair accessibility: They are 100 percent wheelchair accessible. Large bathroom stall and easy to approach sink.“
“Delicious and very reasonably priced for what you get! I ordered an appetizer of beef nachos, a fruit cup and iced tea. The total was less than $16. Lots of activities and outside beach volleyball court. Labeled as a bar and grill, but it's very open and has a restaurant feel over a bar feel.“
“I came for breakfast and Greenfield's definitely did not disappoint! The coffee is good quality and fresh and kept coming. I had the Nebraska Cowboy skillet. I automatically added two additional eggs when I ordered but really shouldn't have. The skillet is large and delicious. I very much enjoyed my experience.“
“Best cooked to order (medium) I've had in years, seriously!! Drove to Lincoln for Husker BBALL at Pinnacle Arena. Lazlo's hands down great food and service! Only knock was table 41 where I was sat was unusually cold for a warm bodied person. Burger overshadowed hostess lack of awareness. ?“
“After dinner, as we were leaving, 4 different employees thanked us for coming and they wished us a good night. The person working the kitchen, the young man sweeping the floor, the gentleman working the counter, and the person stacking chairs...all took time to tell us goodbye and thank us. That kind of customer appreciation is hard to find anymore. Add in the delicious food, and Don and Millie's provides the best dining experience.“
“Obviously your employees know the difference between Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals. We have been refused service in other States where the employees and EVEN OWNERS didn't know the ADA Federal Law. We always sit down anyway because my spouse is blind and has a Guide Dog from Guide Dogs of America . It should be obvious (and it is). It is still very rare and has only happened 4 times in our 45 States of travel. It's all about education, and obviously thats what you've done with your employees. Thank you SO MUCH for the great food and service!Vegetarian options: The Michigan Salad was fantasticDietary restrictions: Gluten free items are available.“
“Despite the uninteresting exterior, the interior of this restaurant completely blew me away. I much prefer this location than the downtown one. So spacious and cozy, with the finest music playing and the perfect amount of lighting. We got the lobster mac n cheese, and the Misty's deluxe cheeseburger. Portions were huge and flavors were delightful. I almost wish they opened during the mornings for special breakfast and brunch items. “
“A boat load of TVs... check. Beer worship... check. Soft-gambling... check. (The only city-licensed keno operator in Lincoln! Foul mouths and bff-hugs... check. Country rock... check. Odor of cigarette smoke?... check. Super kind and attentive service... check. The Cheers of west Lincoln, Open until 2AM 24/7 for keno, by the way.“
“Absolutely a place to go in Lincoln! They have great appetizer/shareable options that were definitely a fan favorite & very reasonably priced. The number of speciality mules they have is so fun, and the decor is perfect for the space. I called ahead to see if they’d host an engagement party for a larger group (on a weeknight) & they were super accommodating. One of likely few locations that won’t charge a fee. Perfect space to gather!“
“Went here for dinner and was very impressed! I ordered the Surf & Turf while my mom ordered the 801 Burger. Both were excellent, as was the duck meatballs we ordered for an appetizer. Our server was friendly but a bit slow at times. However they were decently busy so it wasn't a big deal! If you're in the Haymarket, walk an extra block or two and give this place a try! I'll be back.“
“The Social Hall is the perfect (and affordable) place to hold your private gathering! Family reunions, wedding/funeral receptions, business meetings, birthday parties and more...You can bring your own food or order from the menu at 1st Ave. There is a stage if you want to have a band or DJ, plenty of tables and seating, easy access to 1st Avenue's full bar.Make reservations by calling 1st Avenue.“
“This is the place where we celebrated my son’s 1st/2nd and recently his 3rd birthday. We really adore this place. It’s huge and can accommodate large number of visitors. We appreciate the owner too. He’s very kind and really helpful. We plan on celebrating another important family event here again soon.“
“If you want a place to go and feel comfortable and have a good time Ejs is it. The new owners and staff are great! The food is excellent! We just had the stadium nachos it has homemade Pico and homemade salsa. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are the bomb!!!!!“
“Ive been going tonJacks on Sundays for their tacos! 50¢ hard shells are the bomb, plus the free salsa bar really makes it. The bartenders are usually pretty friendly, though there is on occasion one who gets stuck with a particular friend or on their phone.“
“I'm reluctant to give up the details of this little secret. Hawk's Nest has been a breath of fresh air for our part of town. Considering it's a sports bar, you'd expect a menu packed with fried food. That's definitely not this place. You'll find unique menu pairings with a drive to avoid the "normal". You'll quickly latch on to a favorite. Some of ours are: turkey sando, hot honey pepperoni pizza, pork butt bites, any of the bowls, a big juicy burger, cookie skillet. Expect something new every time you come in. Jason and his team are always coming up with the best concoctions. Speaking of Jason...you can just tell people enjoy working for him. Seriously rare in this industry that the wait staff truly look like they are enjoying their jobs and clearly treated well. Keno is hot, beer is cold, food is suberb, and the vibe is spot-on.“
“O M F G this is hands down the best breakfast joint in Lincoln, NE. Chocolate chip pancakes, banana nut pancakes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, French toast, EVERYTHING here is so good!! I cannot recommend this place more enthusiastically and I absolutely love bringing people here for their first time and again! The staff is great, the atmosphere is great, lots of history in this place. Holy cow the food is so good. Get here early as it is a popular spot! And ask if there are seats at the bar if the line is long!“
