“I tried Taste of Heaven for the first time at the Nebraska Enterprise Fund's Juneteenth celebration. I had the catfish and it was wonderful! Some else had catfish and ribs and said they were both great. After you order they give you "pager" the lights up when your food is ready. That was great as I was able to walk around and enjoy the event while waiting.“

“My husband was skeptical when I said I wanted to go into a car dealership for lunch after doing my research- Truly a hidden gem! These guys were so friendly and accommodating, and it was obvious without saying that they love what they do. The food was fantastic (especially the traditional enchiladas with chili con queso added). The kids love cars so this was such a cool treat for them to gawk at all the indoor vehicles while we were waiting. 10/10 recommend!“

“We came for the Mother’s Day brunch and it did not disappoint! We had the stuffed French toast, crab cake eggs Benedict, and moco loco. Everything was so delicious! This was our first time here and we will for sure be back for dinner. The staff were absolutely fabulous too!! The friendliest couple and so welcoming. Get over here and enjoy some delicious food!“

“Great place to eat. Staff were super friendly. It was really busy in there but we had no trouble finding a clean table and it was a short wait for our supper. Ian delivered our food and was so nice

“While staying in downtown Omaha, my husband and I walked from Hotel Indigo to Block 16 and quickly understood why there was a crowd both outside and inside when we arrived around 6:00 PM.

We ordered at the counter and found the process easy and efficient. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We especially appreciated being told about free refills and being checked on to ensure we were enjoying our meal and overall experience.

We shared a grilled cheese sandwich and the Funky Fungi Fries. Both were outstanding. The flavors were distinct, creative, and clearly intentional. The portions were generous enough for a hungry individual but also worked perfectly for sharing between two people, which is exactly what we did.

What impressed us most was how well everything came together. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food quality, service, and overall experience never seemed to suffer.

Block 16 is an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Omaha. Great food, friendly staff, generous portions, and a restaurant that clearly understands why people keep coming back.“

“Incredible. I’m shocked to see 4.2 stars and I almost skipped the place because of it. Wine selection by the glass is great, was surprised for this city. Oysters were different but very good. They have me complimentary corn bread that was hot, so good and so cute. Butter with salt on it was amazing. Stand out is you have to get the short rib in my option. Very impressed.“

“Came to Omaha for a conference and it was within walking distance to my hotel. The bartender recommended a good beer 🍺 and the Tipsy Cuban sandwich 🥪 which were both good. Nice local pub to get a burger and a beer.“

“We had our rehearsal dinner at Jams Old Market in downtown Omaha. We were able to rent the Loft 204 upstairs for our event. My husband and I loved the venue from the very beginning! The exposed brick walls, the privacy for our event, and the ability to see where we got engaged were all big aspects we were looking for! The bartender was amazing. The food was even better! It truly felt like a dream come true from the moment we walked through the door. Jams was accommodating for our littles and provide our family with a delicious meal the night before our wedding day. Everything on the menu is amazing, especially the chorizo, pancakes and eggs. I have to go back for a donut very soon. The price is also totally affordable!
