50 Best Burger Restaurants in Omaha

“Great food and atmosphere but needs work on handling large crowds for events. Tonight my fiance and I had a wild experience lol. Arrived knowing we would wait, was quoted 30 min to 1 hour. Agreed and took a seat at the bar for drinks, table was available within the 30 min time frame which was great. Was seated and didn’t see a server for 35 minutes, we expected a wait and wasn’t too bothered at this point over it. Once the server came over to us he said he thought we were being taken care of already since I had a drink from the bar. We brushed it off and placed our drinks and food order at that time. My food came out within 5 minutes and we were pretty stunned with how quick that came considering how packed it was. Now, after 10 min of him not getting his order and we also didn’t have our drinks we looked around to find someone to ask. I called out to the server and the manager several times, but didn’t succeed in grabbing their attention and fiance didn’t want me to get up and find someone. 40 minutes after my food arrived the server came up to us and I asked about his food and our drinks. I said well just take our bill and a to go box for mine. He did bring out my fiancés order and removed it from the bill. We understand it’s not entirely the servers fault but overall we were pretty bummed since we do enjoy this spot for the atmosphere and the food has always been good. A few other tables also were saying they had similar experiences tonight and also just wanted their bills as well.“

“Wow! We stopped here on a whim when trying to find a place to eat outside of the Henry Doorly Zoo. And I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time (I got the guacamole bacon burger). It was HUGE and tasted so good, and the fries were good as well.

We ate right outside the front door since there were some tables and chairs along the sidewalk. The service was excellent, and we’ll definitely come back again when visiting the area. There’s a cool mural on the back side of the building too. Parking is a little tight. It’s less than 5 minutes driving from the zoo.“

“I'm from out of town chose this as it is close to my hotel and we ended up with a few errors probably on my fault as I'm a quiet person and it's music in the background. They went above and beyond to fix it and I highly recommend this fantastic food to anyone“

“The food here is to die for. I've not found something that isn't top notch. Their serving of poutine style fries are also huge and a meal in of themselves. As a side note I love their cuts of a potato picture.

Kid-friendliness: I did see that they had high chairs.“

“I wasn’t expecting a home run from the exterior. I didn’t know a thing about the place and it’s just tucked away enough that you have to come across it or know it’s there, very unassuming. I’ve worked in 5 major cities this year, by far this was my best surprise. 11/10!“

The owner and wife are always there and just the best people ever. All the employees are always so nice, and the costumers are good people. I highly recommend this being your go to spot and I'm pretty judgmental too.“

“If you're looking for some of the best nachos you'll ever find it's at Copp's! Their service and atmosphere is great too. I just had the Birria nachos. There's so much food in this appetizer it could be a meal for two people. It's got Birria beef, which was so tender I was impressed with that alone, & espinaca queso dip, corn salsa, tomatoes, jalapenos, & sour cream. This just became one of my favorites here. AND they have Empyrean beer here!“

They know how to keep making the experience better! Double drive through lanes, mobile ordering with curb side pickup, and a large lobby for plenty of seating. This Culver's does right.

Also, great food, awesome cheese curds, and fresh frozen custard. Loves the flavor of the day and the exciting combinations you can make.

“Being new to Omaha, I hadn't heard of Runza until yesterday. Since my wife & I like to try new foods and new places to eat, we felt like we needed to visit what people were calling a Nebraska tradition.I ordered the original Runza Combo and my wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger. We shared an order of Frings (part onion rings, part fries) and a Pear Lemonade. All of the food looked and tasted good.The server was friendly and helpful in describing the various options on the menu. Our meal was prepared quickly and served with a smile. The restaurant was clean and bright.“

“They struggle a bit. I had two coupons for a free dessert due to an issue with an order previously. Despite telling them during my ordering that I had coupons, they charged me for the item. Then at the window, they took both coupons, utilized one and on the second only took 10 cents off. They printed my receipt and handed it to me, saying nothing like I wouldn't notice. I asked why it didn't come up as free and was told I don't know. I did finally get it fixed and got my correct change back after about 5 minutes waiting at the window with 2 young children. Frustrating...the ice cream was good however as usual.“

“I have gone to this BK for a while now and I am always impressed with their presentation and attention. You can tell this store manager has hired a staff that truly cares about their customers and their service. The waits aren't too bad here, even at their busiest times. The lobby is clean and makes you feel good to sit in a fast food restaurant. If I could give an 11/10 I would!“

“Went in for frozen custard. There was a pretty decent line because it was around 6 or 7. It was pretty noisy, but that's par for the course for fast food. Got through the line pretty quick and ordered. I wish they had more flavors of the day, but beggars can't be choosers. Sat down, tables were clean. Custard came out in a timely manner. Pretty decent experience.

Parking: Culver's gets busy at times. Parking can get a little tight. There was plenty of room when we went.“

“Judged purely against its peers, this is the best BK I've eaten at in Omaha for sure and measures up well against other fast food franchises as well. The associates are always friendly and accommodating, even when they're swamped, and the food is generaply prepared/assembled with more care than the average fast food joint, i.e. no smushed buns; wonky patties; old chx fries that have been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hrs; etc.“

“A-Z tour, this is the "B".... a nice surprise, old single story building bar off the main strip, but instead of an "old" local crowd, had younger [20s - early 30s]. They have office chairs at the tables, actually awesome, total comfort, all bars should do this!
I ordered a fried chicken sandwich tossed in their "Dallas" sauce, very good! I also got a side of their homemade "boohyah" sauce that was warm and good as well.
Coleslaw was mayonnaise based (the way I like it).
I'll come back and try the pizza next time.!“

“Food's great, people are great.The only complaint is that the tables need cleaned more often, usually dirty when finding a place to sit. The trash is full a lot of times as well.

Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger that's pretty good.“

“Was first time going there. Clean. The person that helped me. Forgot to get his name. Was very nice and talked to me about the food. He was a red head and young. But I would definitely go back. The chicken sandwich was very good. Seasoned very well. I got a triple burger was good too. If I didn't live so far away I would make it my new burger place“

“Decided I wasn't interested in a burger so I ordered the 2 piece white meat chicken meal with slaw, fries, and garlic toast. The chicken was done to perfection and had a flavorful coating that was reminiscent of small town cafe done. The sides were tasty.

“What a difference from the Runza on 204th 204th is very rude. This Runza location 108th they was very nice food was hot and ready the order was totally correct thank yall for great food and service. That’s how people is supposed to be treated in todays world thank you“

“Runza realy needs to salt their onion rings and fries. Its not the same, after they cool off, adding salt. Everyone does this with fries. Make America salty again! I am not eating deep fried foods for my health; nobody is. Salty rings matter.“
