“Runza is a fast food restaurant in a class all it's own! Their food is far better than any other fast food place, as it's made fresh to order. Their burgers are thick and the classic Runza's are absolutely delicious and cannot be found anywhere else! This is a great place to go if you're looking for fast food minus the crap food. They offer quality food and it's still made fast!“

“Stopped in around 08:30 wednesday morning, traveling back from Memorial Day. Had expected it to be busier, but I suppose regular business had kicked in enough, so we were immediately seated and served. Servers (we had Lucy) were great. The kitchen crushed it. I score pretty harshly on biscuits & gravy coming from rural living, and it was still great. My girlfriend's strawberry pancakes were also stellar. During our visit, several regulars were greeted by servers, and it's easy to understand why. Strongly recommend supporting a local shop, especially when they deserve it!“

“As someone with Celiac, it's hard to find a GOOD place to eat where the staff is also kind to you and doesn't treat you like an inconvenience because of Celiac. I tried the Charred Burger Bar in Omaha today and will definitely be back! The waygu beef was 10/10 but I was just very impressed by the GF bun that didn't fall apart immediately, and wasn't gritty, as well as the fact that they have a separate fryer for fries + GF friendly oil. The server also had a list of celiac safe dips and sauces! Win win.“

“While staying in downtown Omaha, my husband and I walked from Hotel Indigo to Block 16 and quickly understood why there was a crowd both outside and inside when we arrived around 6:00 PM.

We ordered at the counter and found the process easy and efficient. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We especially appreciated being told about free refills and being checked on to ensure we were enjoying our meal and overall experience.

We shared a grilled cheese sandwich and the Funky Fungi Fries. Both were outstanding. The flavors were distinct, creative, and clearly intentional. The portions were generous enough for a hungry individual but also worked perfectly for sharing between two people, which is exactly what we did.

What impressed us most was how well everything came together. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food quality, service, and overall experience never seemed to suffer.

Block 16 is an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Omaha. Great food, friendly staff, generous portions, and a restaurant that clearly understands why people keep coming back.“

“Had to hit up Freddy's while visiting Omaha recently - my boyfriend insisted that I try it. It was delish! Made hot and fresh. I had a double burger, onion rings, and good old-fashioned vanilla ice cream with hot Carmel sauce! Everything was hot, tasty, and satisfying! But the older woman who took our order was so friendly and joyful. She provided great service and the young people working together there were so happy and chatty. A pleasure!“

“Great food and atmosphere but needs work on handling large crowds for events. Tonight my fiance and I had a wild experience lol. Arrived knowing we would wait, was quoted 30 min to 1 hour. Agreed and took a seat at the bar for drinks, table was available within the 30 min time frame which was great. Was seated and didn’t see a server for 35 minutes, we expected a wait and wasn’t too bothered at this point over it. Once the server came over to us he said he thought we were being taken care of already since I had a drink from the bar. We brushed it off and placed our drinks and food order at that time. My food came out within 5 minutes and we were pretty stunned with how quick that came considering how packed it was. Now, after 10 min of him not getting his order and we also didn’t have our drinks we looked around to find someone to ask. I called out to the server and the manager several times, but didn’t succeed in grabbing their attention and fiance didn’t want me to get up and find someone. 40 minutes after my food arrived the server came up to us and I asked about his food and our drinks. I said well just take our bill and a to go box for mine. He did bring out my fiancés order and removed it from the bill. We understand it’s not entirely the servers fault but overall we were pretty bummed since we do enjoy this spot for the atmosphere and the food has always been good. A few other tables also were saying they had similar experiences tonight and also just wanted their bills as well.“

“Visiting and popped into this little gem. This place has been around for years and was of my friends favorite spots for pizza.

We ordered a small meat pizza and it was perfect. It took about 15 min to get our little pie and it was worth it.

I’ve had New York style pizza which I love. I’m not sure but maybe it’s a Midwest style pizza and I found it quite enjoyable. I loved the cheese on top and not too saucy as well as the crust was not overly bready.

All and all I would totally recommend this spot if you are in the area!“

“Charred has the best wings I have ever had! Both the carolina bbq and the buffalo are delicious! I have had them multiple times, once in the restaurant, and several times ordered to go and they have never disappointed. The meat is tender and juicy and comes right off the bone. They may look small but there’s plenty of meat on each wing. I also really enjoy their fries! They are crispy and seasoned nicely.

I have only been in the restaurant once but we were treated with great service and didn’t have to wait too long even though it was a Friday night.

“Judged purely against its peers, this is the best BK I've eaten at in Omaha for sure and measures up well against other fast food franchises as well. The associates are always friendly and accommodating, even when they're swamped, and the food is generaply prepared/assembled with more care than the average fast food joint, i.e. no smushed buns; wonky patties; old chx fries that have been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hrs; etc.“

Can I just say, as a store manager of a business myself, whoever the girl was in the drive-through today that took my order and gave me my order, I just wanted to say you are absolutely somebody I would hire! “I had a bad experience at Runza on 5/4/26, where I was charged for 2 meals, but only purchased 1 meal. Initially, I was told, by whomever answered the phone, claiming to be a manager, there was nothing he could do for me since I didn't report it the same day and I swore I would never eat there again. My friend/coworker went to Runza this afternoon and Jason, the manager asked if she was the one who was overcharged. I had just told her about the incident, so she was able to tell him it was me. He said he had been trying to reach me. She came back with his phone number and I called. Jason was so nice and apologized for the inconvenience and for whomever I spoke to. We even figured out what happened. Runza is now back in my good graces, and I will continue to eat there. Jason was absolutely AWESOME and determined to make things right with me and I appreciate the lengths he was willing to go to, to make it right. There should be more managers like Jason.“
