“The hot beet sandwich was the worst meal I ever had there. The potatoes were hard, dry, and cold, the beef was good and gravy but the whole meal was cold. I've had really good hot beer sandwich there before & it was delicious but today something was off. I was very disappointed.“

It was still alive, so she squashed it with her finger & said she could give us a discount. No apologies, just -$3.50 taken off. I’m sure because we had already eaten the sandwich. But, everything tasted good and the waitress was good.“

“We hadn’t been to Stauffer’s since before Covid. A friend told me the Honest Abe’s had boughten it so we decided to try it for lunch yesterday and everything was delicious! The rolls and biscuits were homemade. I had turkey dinner and it was real roast turkey, not deli meat. We had pie, too, and it was so good. The server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be eating there often!“
