I was parked on the side of the street and looked around to see where I could eat before a 3 hour drive to my next destination when I saw Honest Abe's burgers just across the street from where I was parked. Of COURSE I had to go try it and I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were fresh and delicious and the ladies working there were friendly. The signs, artwork, and general decor were fun - especially to me!“

“My boyfriend and I stopped into Canyon Joe’s on Thursday, and I swear this is the best BBQ in the entire state of Nebraska. We both got the two‑meat platter with brisket and burnt ends, plus mac and cheese and cornbread casserole — every single thing was incredible. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.I also want to shout out Dawson, the young man working the counter. He was so kind, respectful, and genuinely great at customer service. “The hot beet sandwich was the worst meal I ever had there. The potatoes were hard, dry, and cold, the beef was good and gravy but the whole meal was cold. I've had really good hot beer sandwich there before & it was delicious but today something was off. I was very disappointed.“

Eaten all the breakfast places in Lincoln over the years, this is one of the best and the prices are very reasonable. Always busy so that should tell you something.“

“Has been and always will be my favorite hamburger in lincoln. Sometimes it can be a little greasy but, even then better than most. I always get at least a free cookie or two every time which is cool.

Definitely reccomend if you want to try something new and not typical like a McDonald's. Has a older school vibe Goin on too.“

“I had ordered a three scoop custard in a cup at the beginning and said I'd pick up before I leave. I went to get it after I had finished my food only to realize she never out on the ticket. Then I ordered and paid for one and waited over 10 minutes for it. She said they were backed up. She could have done it herself right aqay.“

“We live close to this location, and I must say the team and the food are always awesome. As a matter of fact, we love the team here so much we decided to use our coupons to get a basketball, have the entire team sign it, and add it to our sports memorabilia collection! What a team!“

“Excellent food, service, and a very clean place to eat.As a party of two, we ordered Falafel with a side of fries, Spanakopita with a side of salad and a lentil soup...all vegetarian and freshly made. Food was served in 5-7 minutes, it was absolutely delicious! We haven't had or come across Mediterranean food this good for years, and there was no suffering of repeat, or heartburn hassles afterwards. That was a bonus!I loved that you could see into the kitchen area and watch the cooks at work too. It was all very clean as well.

“This Runza was very clean and updated. Very friendly service, and man...I have missed those onion rings. Had to take family to try their first Runza while in town, and they enjoyed it. Kind of a bummer they charge for the French onion dip now. Maybe I've been gone so long I didn't realize they've always charged for it. It was still a must to dip my rings in. The Runza w/cheese, frings, a drink and 2 dips was almost $17😱 Crazy times we're living in, and you can tell the prices are affecting business bc we were the only ones there. It's a shame bc this franchise has been a Nebraska staple for years. If I still lived here, the price would dissuade me from eating there often, but if you've never had it and passing through Nebraska, highly recommend.“

“Good experience eating dinner here. The tables/seating are spacious and wet had a booth. Plenty of TV's to catch sports. Nachos were good and could have used more queso - loved the taste of the beef and chips were good too. We wouldn't order the grilled cheese on sourdough again tho. Service was great in a busy atmosphere. Can get a little loud if you are looking for quiet - depending on the crowd.“

“I put in an online order to pick up on my way home, not realizing at all that I accidentally placed the order in Omaha. I honestly expected to just accept the loss and place a new order for the correct location based on past experiences with other dine in restaurants in town. I went in to the East Lincoln spot explaining the mistake I had made. The manager, Candace I believe, quickly resolved my issue and had my original order cooked up for me in under 10 minutes! And of course, the food was fantastic!“

“Very Nebraska-specific comfort food. The Runza sandwich is warm, doughy, and oddly satisfying, especially on a cold day. It’s simple, a little nostalgic, and surprisingly filling. Fast-food setup, but locals clearly take this place seriously (and now I get why).“

“Service was fast and professional and friendly. Food came out very fast!. The tator tots are amazing and the chicken strips are delicious. Only suggestion i have would be for the Philly wrap. I would use more seasoning on the meat and bell peppers to give it some flavor and maybe sear the wrap in the pan so it gets toasted and crunchy to add for texture. Lighting was also super great. “I couldn't find how to leave a review on google so I came here next. My spouse and son came here for a nice lunch. It was super busy but we didn't mind. My partner ordered the BBQ Pork Nachos on Tortilla Chips. (We have tried every single spot in Lincoln that offers these as he is an extreme lover of bbq nachos.) I was already nervous of his rating/review because he is super picky and high maintenance when it comes to his nachos. 🫣🤣 .... But he said these were out of the world amazing. The meat had good flavor, he looooooved the white queso and the bbq sauce was the perfect flavor and consistency. We definitely will be back!!!“

“APPLAUSE!! You made a bad experience one to remember in a positive way. I didn't check my bag until I left the drive thru but noticed right away there was NO FRING to my frings, not only that but I had about 9 fries in the bag (it was a kids meal but there should be more than that). I turned around and went inside and the gentleman in the back saw me and didn't make me wait even 30 seconds. I explained, he apologized and grabbed the bag and went to the back. When he came back my fries were full and i had a few extra rings to enjoy. He topped it off with a complimentary cookie and asked me to have a blessed day. WAY TO GO RUNZA BELMONT!!“
