“Yum! Forgot to take photo before we dug in and ate half our meal. Been here many times before and everything is scrumptious! Homestead Bakery and Cafe in Firth Nebraska is well worth the drive from Lincoln. Oreo Cheesecake and Pecan Caramel rolls( homemade everything), Tacos with chips and Queso Cheese dip, and Pastrami with smoked hamburger sandwich; and Chicken Tortilla soup with chips.(sorry I ate that too fast). Last but not least. Superb service. Feels like family. I recommend all menu items. Each visit we tried new ones and were never disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough”

“ive been getting pizza here a ton lately and this place has become my all time favorite pizza spot ive ordered from. the food is always really good, everyone that works here is super nice and friendly, and its a good place to chill and hang out. ill definitely try to order from here when i visit firth after i move out”

“Wow! We stopped by while in the area and it did not disappoint. The pecan rolls were perfect, just the right amount of sweet. The apple pie cupcake was moist and delicious. There was a small line going outside the door but the team is fast and efficient. Had our pastries in no time. Will definitely go back!”

“We live in Omaha and our son had a football game at Norris HS this Sunday. We dropped him off for warm ups and needed some food and coffee. We made the 4 mile drive to New Day and we were super impressed. The coffee was good and the sandwiches hit the spot. To make it even better, we had a great place to stretch our legs and let our kids enjoy fresh air after the longer drive from Omaha. Our one year old gets sick of his car seat and he was able to move around while we enjoyed our coffee and food. We will def come back. Service was warm and welcoming too.We ordered 2 iced Americano’s 2 croissant sandwiches, parfait yogurt, and donut holes. All were delicious. Beautiful patio. Thank you!”

“We were privileged to attend a plated dinner with wine pairings and I must say I was impressed. The setting is peaceful, the food was delicious and the wine pairings were simply perfect. The live music added to the ambiance and the staff and owners were very attentive and made sure to personally ask how our experience was and listened to our positive comments. Be prepared for a small section of gravel road to reach the venue and parking was a little tricky on the grass after the rain but we will definely be coming back for another date night.”

“Everyone was so friendly. Amazing service and makes you feel comfortable and you are able to have a great time. The cheese barrels were amazing as well as the sliced deep fried portobello mushrooms my favorite. And their onion fries delicious”

“I play poker here (FREE poker, so cops, don't go raiding the place) on Sunday evenings and have found the owners and staff some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. The food is good, the prices are fair and I'd recommend this place to anyone who remembers what a "neighborhood bar" used to mean.”

“This is quality! And the service is great he listens to specifics and didn’t forget a thing, which I appreciate - especially when he was handling the lunch rush. Offered extra sauces, utensils etc. Hot food, nice mild spice (general sour chicken) in my opinion.I see a lot of bad reviews based on their inconsistent closing times but I’ll defend that this is probably on account of their prepared food running out, I’ve worked at small places like this and it’s easier for me to be understanding of the nature of this. I do recall seeing new signs posted warning of this.”

“Small town bar with friendly welcoming locals. Excellent drinks at a much better price than Lincoln. Weekend entertainment of bands or karaoke. If you want a drama free good time at a great price Roca is the place to be.”

“Stopped in for some snacks and a couple of drinks before a wedding. Was busy, but service was prompt and accurate, as well as friendly. Food was delicious and cooked to order, no heat lamps. I definitely recommend it if you are in the area!”

“Theres 2 sides to a story. This reveiw joshua dickenson has posted really upsets me. He came in to pick up an ONLINE order and said he was over charged and didnt receieve 1 sandwhich for free. I apologized and said we havw no control over the subway app and pay. We receive the order 3rd party. He was upset and yelling at me as i finished his sandwhiches because he was early to come pick up. He then demanded me to give him free cookies for his military discount and since he was overcharged by the app that i have no control over. I put the side of apple sauce in the bag amd the kids white milk on the counter. He then yelled at me again saying i will be giving you a bad review trisha and purposely forgets the milk on the counter. I also had another customer in my shop standing there in disbelief of what happened. I can only control what happens in store. I never rang in his order to begin with. I work really hard in my store. I would never say no to a 10% military discount. He did not want to purchase the cookies. He wanted them for free.”
