I have been going into Village Inn since 2019. I was there on day one when they remolded. I am a senior and a widow. I mainly go to talk with other customers and regulars like me. I like just about everybody that works there. The cleanliness is a lot to be desired along with the cockroaches. They have been told there are cockroaches. This was by far the most disappointing and disgusting meal I have had in years. We ordered our meal as a carry out 11/5/23 and once we got it home we found out that the chicken fried steak had no gravy, the eggs Benedict’s had no hollandaise sauce and everything was thrown in the styrofoam containers like a big “F you” I should of taken the photos of the food in the containers. Dining room wasn't very busy for it being a Sunday. We ordered right away and then waited one hour for our food. We asked about our food and the second time we're told that they take the call in orders first and make the in store customer wait. Total BS. Food was delicious, but I will NEVER GO BACK. You all might consider retraining or replacing management.
