“With all the recent rumble about Runza, and finding ourself driving through Nebraska on our vacation, we just had to stop in.

FOOD & DRINK: The eponymous sandwich was quite tasty. The crinkle-cut fries were a bit overdone. The onion rings were cornmeal-coated and okay. Standard fountain drinks, plus special flavored lemonades.

SERVICE: Friendly and fast.

AMBIANCE: This store was very clean, despite the large volume of customers.

NET-NET: In a world of fast foods, we'll likely choose Runza (when we have a choice).

Kid-friendliness: Kids all over the place, seeming to have a good time.

Wheelchair accessibility: Appeared quite accessible.“

“The employees are always warm and friendly, smiling and ready to take your order promptly. The lobby is always clean and comfortable. I have never had a complaint about eating at this location or the Scottsbluff location.

Parking: Parking locations all around the building, and the parking lot is always kept clean.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap area is right at the door to limit the amount of walking.“

“Horrible customer service!! I made the mistake of spending my money at the Gering subway today. Ordered my sandwiches and was asked if there was anything else I would like. I said yes can I get a box of cookies please. The lady almost rolled her eyes straight out of her head and bit my head off. I got my food and sat down. 3 minors came in and this lady yelled at them. No outside food or drinks. They were good kids and threw out their drinks. They sat down and the little one who was probably 6 years old went up to the counter. The lady but her head off told her "get off my counter" she ran back to her sisters. I went over and gave the 3 girls my box of cookies cause wow!! And this lady had the audacity to yell at them AGAIN. She said "where did you get those cookies cause I already told you no outside food" my bf spoke up and said they were from us. Please someone tell this woman that kindness and customer service go hand in hand. Yelling at a little 6 year old and then all 3 kids when all they were doing was waiting for there order ....shameful

Kid-friendliness: 💯 NOT kid friendly even when they were polite and respectful AND spent $$$ there.“

“It was early morning I ordered online and after about 8 minutes I went inside, it seemed to me they were having a shift change so the order wasn't quite ready yet but the vibe in the store was very positive and fun but also professional. 10/10“

“So, I’ve been curious about this Nebraska fast food chain, Runza. Given today is probably my last day in Nebraska I figured I’d try it. For fast food, it’s pretty good. Food seems to be made fresh I had to try the classic runza sandwich which is kinda like a sloppy Joe w cabbage. It won’t be for everyone but I liked it. They also have burgers chicken, salads, etc. so something for everyone.

Warming, the place does have a slight smell of cabbage but not too bad.“

“We had a great time visiting the new Dairy King—what a treat! The kids absolutely loved picking out their favorites from the ice cream counter! While we didn’t try the food this time around, the menu looked full of foods for everyone we can’t wait to come back and try. The building was clean and well-kept, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Looking forward to our next trip!“

“On 02/27, I had great service. The young lady was making me laugh as she took my order. That made my day. Several employees asked if I had been helped as I was waiting for my food. It’s a rarity to find that kind of attention in most places. Good job everyone! The food was delicious and prepared well. The only thing that stood out was a taco shell seemed to be over cooked or burnt. If it weren’t for that, the food review is a 5-star.This was my first visit to Scottsbluff and Taco John’s helped make it a positive experience.“
