Wow, amazing staff and the most delicious cakes and cookies for an exceptional price. We tried a few things, the glazed ring doughnut was delicious fluffiness and one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pretzel peanut butter one is to die for. The maple long John can feed 3 people and well, yum. I wasn’t as taken with the cookies but that’s just my preference as they were beautifully buttery and tasty. Although we didn’t try any, they had a huge selection of breads, rolls and other cakes and biscuits. This place is a little gem in Gering, how lucky are those who live there. I was sad they didn’t provide delicious take out sandwiches or rolls, as I’d have for those too.

I got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and some pastries. The egg was like rubber. The bacon was undercooked. They did not send pastries I requested saying they were out. Claimed when I called to ask what happened, that they tried to contact me. But, my phone was sitting in my lap. So they substituted whatever they wanted without my input. I double checked my messages and emails to give them benefit of the doubt. Which there wasn't any correspondence. Even though I was polite the person on the phone hung up on me. So, definitely not a 5 star establishment by any ways and means.

Recently had a large donut order (150, 100 donut holes and a sheet cake) it was all perfect. Ready as promised and tasted better than it looked. You guys are great thank you so much!

What a gem! Love the old neon sign out front. It makes me happy to see businesses such as this still going since 1950 and it doesn't look like much has changed! It felt like a step back in time. We stopped in for some donuts and coffee to go and the man that helped us was very friendly. Everything seemed so vintage and well taken care of. Donuts and coffee were great! I hope to be back again next time we are passing through!

We stopped in to just look around and ended up purchasing a ginormous bear claw and a large size cabbage burger. The bear claw was more than plenty for both my husband and me. It was soft and pulled apart with just enough cinnamon filling and lite glaze. I was skeptical at first about the cabbage burger, but I was taken down memory lane by the look and taste of it. The bread dough tasted like the one my great Grandma Sterkel made our family. The cabbage and hamburger mixture was well seasoned and delicious. The bakery had many more pastries we would have liked to try. They even have fresh bread and homemade noodles for sale. So happy that we stopped in. Next time we are in Gering will have to stop back for a treat. 🥰

I am from out of state. I highly recommend if you need anything delivered to a relative or friend. Always reliable, easy, and fast delivery. LOVE the cake work too!
The doughnuts and cakes are delicious, every time my children and I come back to visit family in Gerimg and Scottsbluff we always stop at the Bering bakery. My daughters kindergarten graduation cakes was made by them and when she graduates high school I will have them make another graduation cake for her.

Turnover and great donuts
