Carlos O'Kelly's - Grand Island | Mexican offers a mixed experience. The food is often praised, with highlights including excellent guacamole and queso with chips, delicious fajita crisp, and fantastic blackberry and peach margaritas. The 2 enchilada build your own with carnitas and green sauce, and birria with red sauce, is paired perfectly with cilantro lime and refried beans. The pasta diablo is also amazing. Service varies greatly; some guests had a super friendly server named Shaun, or perfect service from Sean and Bryan, while others experienced a waitress who was not very good and had to ask three times for a lime. The interior has some updating. Chips and award winning salsa are served quickly, and drinks can arrive in under two minutes. Parking is available right up front.
