“Visited Shirley with local friends, they both adore the chicken fried steak, they get it every time. I gave the biscuits and gravy a go and found it delicious and filling. Our server was great, very sweet and super attentive. I definitely reccomend giving Shirley's a try if you're looking for some great diner food.“

“Sweet little breakfast and lunch place. Usually you can seat yourself. Old fashioned seats and friendly people. Food tastes good and prices are right. Lots of regulars come in. My favorite is the chicken salad. There is a party room and also a little store upstairs but you pay at the counter for store items. The staff is very nice but will hit tables out of order when it is busy so don't get upset, know that ahead of time.Parking: It's city parking but most of the time you will find a spot. You just might have to walk a bit.Kid-friendliness: This is a relatively small town. This restaurant enjoys children and is a favorite place for them to get cookies, ice cream, et cetera.“
