“I stayed at the lodge three nights for a family reunion. The rooms on the upper floor facing east seem to have the best views. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had breakfast the last day at Carl’s; it was comparable prices to what you’d get in town and I enjoyed it. Would be interested to come back in the fall and try the rope course and ice skating.“

“Do not sleep on Shevy’s in Elkhorn. I’ve meant to post about their prime rib dip sandwhich forever, but I always inhale it before snapping a pic. This time, I showed restraint (barely). Juicy, tender prime rib, gooey melted cheese, and grilled buttery bread that deserves a standing ovation. The au jus? Not too salty, just rich and dunk-worthy. Fries? Absolute top-tier. Crispy outside, soft inside. Tied with Addy’s for best in town. My fiancée got the Philly and we both agreed: it’s one of, if not the best we’ve tried around town. Full strands of grilled peppers and onions, not the sad chopped bits you get elsewhere. And as always, Shevy’s has that friendly, down-home service. Go get you some.. and try to take a photo before you’re completely lost in the sauce. “Sapp Bros truck stop near I-80 and 144th street in Omaha, Ne at the Coffee Kettle Cafe with my server Kelly.

I had an enjoyable meal of a Home style cafe feel, and warm friendly service. I am loving the new ways that Sapp Bros is having restaurants nowadays!! Check out the fresh made food. I had chicken strips with Real mashed potatos, small side salad, and a slice of lemon meringue pie with sweet tea to drink.

Though next time i will be having the hand-breaded chicken friend steak with real mashed potatoes...😋 Yum!

“Huge shout-out to the managers at PepperJax! The issue I thought I had with being charged too much was actually not an issue, but they helped me figure it out. They did forget the cheese sauce in my order, but ended up redoing our entire order for free another day! Zero complaints; food was fresh and all employees are more than pleasant to deal with!“

“I love how accommodating they are here. I ask for rice without cilantro, and although they have to get it from the back, they always do without hesitation. Facility was clean, staff friendly, and quick. My only complaint is that they seem a tad expensive, but portions are huge, so it makes the price point better!“
