I really only go for the tater tots and cheese. I'm not real big on their menu. And the prices are ridiculous for the amount of grease you get. To be fair it's expensive to eat .. these days. The workers have always been super friendly.
I'm biased just because I've always been a Taco John's enjoyer, but for me, Texan sized portions and good taste for a low price puts TJ's towards the top of what I look for from fast food. If I could change anything it would be nice to see some shine-ola on the outside atmosphere. I love TJ's but it makes me a tad sad to see how faded and run down it's become since my childhood days.

I'm a fan, so it was easy to make me happy.
Spanish speaking location had great staff, but the facility is in disrepair.
Also, it's for sale (and it shows).
Food was good (brand quality), staff was great (local people) facility was run down (profitability).
Taco John's should visit and set a higher (regular) standard.
