“The evening started out not so great. Upon arrival the dinning area was relatively empty but we were asked to wait 5-10 min. I understand it was to delegate customers equally to servers but it feels like there should be a better way. The two girls at the front were laughing and giggling among themselves, hopefully not on the clock but it seemed they were doing take out orders. We almost left during this wait but I was hungry and really wanted brisket.
I ordered the texas brisket plate with a side salad and apples, hubby ordered wings and sweet potato fries. The food was really good, it came out in a timely manner. The corn muffin was delicious even though I wouldnt recommend the apples. But who cares about apples, the main course was on point.
The highlight of the evening and what turned this review from a 3 to a 5 was our server. Lance, I pretty sure that was his name. He was absolutely great, he did everything he could make sure we enjoyed our experience and I highly appreciate him.“

“My family and I have been coming here for years. We call it “P st. BBQ”. It is by far THE BEST bbq that you can get around here! We almost don’t like telling anyone about it just so we can keep it to ourselves lol. Always great food, always great service!!!! 10/10 we will continue to come here for as long as they are open!!!!“

“Wonderful! Got a whole duck and pork belly. The pork belly skin was crisp and delicious and seasoned so well. The duck was excellent too. They came with some sauces which I was skeptical that I would like (because I don't like sauces as a general rule), but really did compliment the flavors of the meat.“

“Todays February 7 , 2023. I always love to eat bbq of famous Dave in Lincoln specially there beef brisket . I was surprise this is our first time to get a salty food . It seems there chef was mad in cooking . I’m terribly hungry and at the same time I’m upset because we can’t eat our food we order . The manager was nice it make me feel better when I talk to him. But anyway everyone is not perfect I forgive but terribly I’m hungry . Probably better to eat at the restaurant not to take out.“

“I have been a steady patron spending around $200.00 a month there. Saturday I had company so thought I’d let them see what NE. BBQ was like. One slab was just ok, another was good and the third was not moist, hard ends that could not be chewed, really bad. One of qt of potatoes the potatoes in top of container were good but the bottom half were hard and dry. Are you under new management? So very disappointed.
