“Best brisket in town. The guy is a bit weird and joint itself is very no-frills but his meat can't be beat. Perfect bark and meat so tender you'd think it was butter the way it melts in your mouth. The bourbon sauce is a perfect compliment but it's so good and juicy you could eat it as is without issue. I bring so many friends there and they're all blown away every time!“

“Got the cheese fries with pork. Very generous portion. The sauces were unique and quite good. They are vinegar forward and not like the sticky sweet kc BBQ that is more common here. I really enjoyed the Carolina mustard, which is unusual for me. Would like a sauce with some celery seed and a little more thickness, but all and all the uniqueness of the ones they had won me over. Mac and cheese was very good, a little smokey and not too heavy.“

“Very Busy BBQ! HUGE to go business as well. The dining room is huge though so you should be able to find a seat. The set up is a little nerve wracking because you have to read the menu real quick on the wall when you come in, pay and then they give you a number and bring it to you. After a few times I'm sure it won't be as scary. Lol. They have a couple cashiers, so the line goes pretty fast. Desserts are behind them in the cooler... So don't forget that! Banana or Pistachio pudding! I like the pulled pork the best & my spouse likes the ribs. Everything we've had is good tho the few times we went. They have 3 sauce bottles available. Fire. Sassy (sweet & savory our fav) & mild. All are great tho. Apple coleslaw is vinager based & i loved it. Could taste apple. My spouse didn't because they like the more mayo version. Cornbread is like cake consistency (my fav) but spouse likes more crumbly but we both appreciated the great corn flavor! Served with honey & butter. Kettle chips are bubbly and flavorful. Fried onion petals are great small size to put on the sandwhich if you want. I didn't know they had dill pickle chips and those come with the sandwich on the side. Mmmm. They do run out of brisket fast and there is a sign on the door if they run out of stuff they close. Everything is FRESH! Smells awesome in there and kept really clean due to a large working crew. They sell bottles/ cans behind counter to drink, but they do have soda, homemade lemonade, sweet & unsweetened tea at serve yourself fountains. I would say it's definitely in the top 5 BBQ places in Omaha. But then again there isn't a bad bbq in Omaha. Very reasonable prices. $40 for 2 adults with drinks & dessert not including tip. The suggested receipt tips are 2 to 7% probably because it's pay at the counter & get ur own tableware. We left 15% on a card & a couple dollars in the jar by the register. Squirreled away in a corner lot of several strip malls, across from Tanners Bar on the Northeast side of 156th & Maple. Watch for confused drivers everywhere. It's a weird residential entrance. Use GPS. Lovely area though.“

“I've never had a bad meal at Longhorn, but I've never had what I would consider a truly great meal, either. It's decent for a chain steakhouse and a quick date night choice when nothing else sounds good. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and I tried the Brussel sprouts for the first time, they were really tasty, but what really set this trip apart was our server Chad and the rest of the staff. Super friendly and accommodating, very attentive, and entertaining as well. Service like we received is as rare as my wife likes her steaks.“

“Elkhorn, Ne has a small town feel, on the western edge of Omaha running along Dodge and Maple streets as major roadways. There is much to offer in big taste restaurants here, as one that i am enjoying as i write this. Boyd and Charlies BBQ and More, has a wide variety of different quality meats smoked to perfection, with three sauces to compliment your choices very well. ?I chose the Honey kissed turkey breast with smoked pulled chicken, southern style crispy fries & onion petals, and for dessert a healthy portion of apple cobbler alamode! So come on down, bring your friends & family, as you fall in love with the top notch customer service & food too.I am adding to my review, as i am just finishing up...oh my! The apple cobbler alamode is off the Yum charts!! This reminds me of my grandmother Dorothy's cooking as a kid.“

“Fantastic BBQ! I tried the the ribs, which were fall off the bone, shredded pork, which was juicy and flavorful, and the brisket which was done just right. My wife had concerns about the dry rub ingredients and Dason was kind enough to get the ingredients to her and find out she could have all of the food! Great job Dason!Dietary restrictions: My wife has a severe reaction to Mono Sodium Glutemate or MSG. The rubs and sauces here do not have any in them or added.“

“I love going here to eat on my lunch breaks. My only complaint is is the last two times I've been there, there's been someone sweeping off the rugs inside the store. “Sunday evening dinner. Good idea to use their website for the wait list. They do not take reservations. Servers act as a team to cover tables. The main server takes orders, but others will deliver drinks, bread, and meals. I had the Road Kill chopped steak with grilled mushrooms onions covered with pepper Jack cheese. Too salty for my taste and the grilled onions needed more cooking time. My aunt had the 20oz bone in ribeye that was perfectly cooked to medium. She ordered a smaller size but the big one was delivered. It did show up on the bill. The noise level was very high, resulting in the error. Suggest Servers repeat order in such conditions.Parking: Slots in front of restaurant occupied. Had to use adjacent lot about 100 yards from the restaurant“

“No frills barbecue place. You order at the counter and they call your name for pickup. The gal behind the counter was fantastic. All three of us enjoyed the food. The corn bread comes in baggies which I thought strange but not a big deal. It is tasty. The baked beans were too sweet for my taste. It my Dad and aunt enjoyed them. Got a three bone rib combo with fried okra and baked beans and was really pleased. Ribs were firm but tender, not fall off bone which I don't like anyway. Portions were generous and tasty. Will definitely be back to try some of the other meats.Kid-friendliness: The free ice cream is a kid favorite. The machine is slow and loud but whatevs, if the kids are happy, I'm happy.“

Although the drive-thru wait was 15-20, it was absolutely worth it. The ribs were tender, seasoned to perfection, and the BBQ sauce was homemade. There was people at the bar at 1:30 am on a Wednesday which was cool for a west O bar. I may have blacked out. On a wednesday. Also the chairs were really comfortable which is surprising because most bars have wooden chairs so if you are looking for a west O bar mid-week go to lighthouse cuz it is sick and they have darts.“
