Come play pool on 1 of the 3 tables
We stopped in for happy hour on Thursday. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly bartender, named Wren, who conversed with us and was really good at her job. She was playing great music and even asked us what we would like to hear. She was very personable, promoted some of the drinks that the bar offered, and was very positive. JJ Hooligans is a college bar with a great beer selection and cheap drinks. The place is open late, with loud music and a friendly bartender who shares tips about the nightlife in Lincoln. They offer vapor shots, and the staff is super kind. The brunch experience is amazing, both as a performer and a spectator. The only suggestion is to add more rectangular tables and chairs. Overall, JJ Hooligans is a cool and welcoming spot with great camaraderie.
