“I work here so I might be a little biased. But I frequently attend the bar for food as a customer too when I'm not working. As far as being an employee here, I love it! The owners are amazing! It's great having owners who are invested in their bar and are helping their employees every day, without question. I know that if I'm slammed, Hydi and Steve will be right there with me, serving drinks, stocking beer, filling ice, etc., to help ensure customers get the best service possible. They provide so much support when needed and I have no problem supporting them back by spending every dime they pay me on their tacos every Tuesday 🤣. I also love the small town, family business aspect of working here. The owners extended family is absolutely amazing and always willing to lend a hand if needed as well. It's something you don't see in bigger towns. Hydi and Steve have done an amazing job at updating and remodeling the bar but honoring all of the history and memories that have happened within the walls of this establishment. When I go to the bar as a customer I've always had the best food and service. The steak Philly.... 🤤🤌 The environment is great, music is top notch, and there's always a familiar face in the building. I love hearing customers tell stories of "the good ol' days" and wish I could have been there for some of the stories, but I'm also excited to make new memories at The Otoe Spur with awesome owners and the best customers.“
