The owner is awesome and the food from the cafe is amazing. The rooms are quaint and rustic giving you the country feel. The air conditioners aren't the best but you can ask the owner, Sherri, for something.
I was sort of stuck; I had to stop for the night and here I was in Loup City. I wasn't even sure the Frederick was open, but called the number and a nice lady came to the door. I was the only guest on a Tuesday night. It is an old hotel, so if you're expecting a modern feel, then this is not the place (but good luck finding that in Loup City!). However, my room did have its own bathroom, TV, WiFi, and mini-fridge. I was comfortable and enjoyed the feel of the historic building....read full review
I stayed the night here with my speech team and honestly we had a great time. The rooms are all beautiful, and the art in them is refreshingly not modern. That’s how you could sum up the entire place. Refreshingly not modern. Breakfast was good, and I suspect the jam was locally made. Apparently the AC doesn’t work in some rooms, so you may want to bring a fan, my group just opened up the window in our room and we did fine.The entire place is pretty small, but well decorated....read full review
