So I know it isn't Bourbon Saloon anymore but I was struggling trying to find Karma Nightclub- which is what the bar is called now that it is under new ownership. I was there a couple weekends ago for a dirty 30 for my girlfriend and we absolutely had a blast! The ambiance is welcoming and enticing, the lighting is mesmerizing, the music is transcendent, the drinks are sensational and the first-rate staff is unrivaled. The only thing that could have made it a better night was if someone were watching over the VIP area and making sure that ONLY guests with VIP wristbands were allowed in (and securing other points of entry). We had an issue with the same drunk girl storming in to our section- unwanted. The fact that she somehow found her way into our area more than once is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Our cocktail waitress wasn't phased when dealing with this belligerent individual. This drunkard proceeded to get in the face of (and I mean 6 inches within the face of) our bottle service girl and she was yelling at an otherwise calm and professional staff member. Our waitress was somehow able to talk down and remove this disrespectful woman and continued with the same exceptional service she had delivered all night. She is the biggest reason we will be back!! She was INCREDIBLE!! By far the best bottle service in downtown Omaha, thanks to her!! She kept our area looking sharp at all times and was an absolute doll towards me and all of the other birthday guests (and, from what I could see, everyone else in the bar). It would have been an awesome night regardless (I hope), but the cute girl dressed in black on our party's bottle service ensured that it was a WAY more memorable, top-notch night!! We will be back!!

Hidden little venue. Drink prices are less than insane. Can see comedy or music.

Costume contest said 5000.00 in cash and prizes... Turned out to be 100.00 in cash. Bait and switched. Boring, music was mediocre, overall experience was a total bust. Will not be back.

We had the special burger. It was delicious!!!! Great atmosphere. Try the bread and butter wine.

Saw confederate railroad. The band was good But felt like I was in a raw hide blues brothers bar. The dance floor was taken over a 60 year old lady club who thought they could line dance to any song. I call them the old scquarl group. The looked like regulars. Dominated the dances if you came there to dance you must dance like them or get off the stage. Beers start out at 4.50 high for pbr and Bush light. Overall I've seen better cowboy bars. Oh turn the high power fans off it was so cold in there and the wind is stronger than a tornado.. good dive bar at best. I've seen better.

Never having been here before, I was curious how the room would do for live music...Happy to say it did pretty well...Pretty good sized layout, not a big crowd but it was Sunday so there's that...They had what I liked to drink...Prices were what I expected them to be...Not into country music, but if local bands like Stately Wayne Manor, Fallen Reign and the others play here again, I'd come back...

Nice venue, pretty good for live music but I don't understand why every time there is a concert here they have to have 6 or 7 bands and it lasts till 1 in the morning. Be aware the headliner probably won't go on until at least 11:30.

This may well turn out to be Buck's East but without the food. The jury, however, is out whether the owner will be able to attract and book the best country acts. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get into the venue. The building is a solid stone Art Deco classic. The bar is shotgun style; long and narrow. It is sufficiently grungy like Buck's. Unlike Buck's it has an actual stage and a dance floor. Although it bills itself as the Bourbon Saloon it doesn't have that much of a whiskey selection. I was, however, happy with my choice. Budweiser (now owned by a foreign corporation) has fairly well cornered the beer market here. I didn't see much of a craft beer selection. No hipsters here and glad for the respite.
