This is a disappointment of a restaurant . I waited for my food for over an hour and people who got here after got their food before us and they even forgot our order, even though there was barely anyone here. Once we got our food, it was really dry and cold, I even tried to put BBQ on the meat but I could still taste the frozen bitterness inside the meat. We weren't even treated as people, we got ignored every time they passed our table and we were left hungry. The only good part was the tootsie rolls they gave us after we ate our cold food. Overall this place is buns. Would rather get a McRib from Macdonalds, that would fill me up better than this disgrace of a BBQ restaurant.

We haven't been in for quite some time but we will definitely be back on the regular from now on! The food was amazing! We had the Kansas City ribs, brisket and pork and it was all 10 out of 10! The service was super friendly and prompt. I highly recommend!

Boyd and Charlie's went above and beyond. My friend and I went there to celebrate my bday before the game tonight. The atmosphere was awesome. Very family friendly! The vibe is awesome the food is amazing!
Scott our server went above and beyond. I forgot my take out order for my husbanf and Scott hand delivered it to my hubby tonight so he would have his hot meal to eat tonight. Will definitely recommend Boyd and Charlie's! 110%!!!

We’ve driven by this place many times, each time commenting on the signage, barbecue, ribs and so forth. Today we finally gave it a try. We started our adventure by scoring a parking spot right by the door! (One of us has a limited number of steps that can be taken before sitting is required.) upon entering, the visual ambience is immediately eye-catching. Taxidermy is plentiful! We chose a table close to the door, allowing for our dinner friends to see us easily. There was a post right at the corner of the table, which I chose to call Malone. We were greeted quickly by a couple of very young people, who were choosing to spend part of their vacation helping in the restaurant. Very nice. They got our water, asked about drinks and brought us menus. We had all four been there a while before someone asked whether or not we were ready to order. (I think the visiting help was maybe taking some of the routine out of the service.) we placed our orders and after a bit of a wait, not a long wait, our food was delivered by multiple employees, all at the same time. I thought the food was pretty good, as did the rest of our party. My brisket was ranging from tender to tough, and the chicken was kind of dry. I had coleslaw that was good, Bama Beans, which were good and corn pie. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

We visited this restaurant hoping for a good barbecue meal, but the experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. The service was abysmal. We were left waiting for over 30 minutes before a server even acknowledged our table. Once we finally placed our order, it took another 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and to make matters worse, it was the wrong order. When our correct meals finally did come out, the portions were ridiculously small. The sides, like the coleslaw and beans, were served in tiny condiment cups, and the handful of fries we got looked like they were rationed. But the worst part was the food itself. The barbecue was beyond disappointing. The brisket had no smoke ring and tasted bland, the ribs were dry and completely flavorless, and the pulled pork was a fatty, mushy mess. Nothing we ate tasted like it had been properly smoked. Honestly, a McRib from McDonald's has more flavor and is a better example of barbecue than what we were served. The only redeeming part of the entire meal was the tootsie rolls that came with the check. Save your money and your time—there are countless better barbecue options out there.

We came back today, hoping it would have gotten better - and sadly it was poor all the way around. The service was really bad - like really, really bad. It took a long time just to get water, and then our server didn’t come take our order for another 30 minutes.
It wasnt busy - maybe half full, and it looked like there was enough staff to serve the room. But for whatever reason, our server was allergic to coming to our table.
Once we got the correct food delivered (the first order that was brought to us was someone else’s), it was cold and undercooked.
We’re tried this place twice - most likely won’t be a third attempt :)

Very tasty BBQ without too much smoke. Their sauce choices are very good, Whiskey is my favorite as it is sweet and spicy but not hot. Try the St Louis style ribs if you like your ribs very meaty.
