Food was just okay. The burger was too well done for my taste and I wasn’t asked for a cooking temperature if that is normally an option. Cheese curds had a great batter and my Blueberry Mule was strong. Bartender wasn’t overly chatty but I was having a quiet dinner. He read that really well. His service with other guests was genuine and prompt.Overall an okay experience, I just know I can find better burgers in town.

Walking in I knew it was going to be uncomfortable to sit on the hard chairs and benches. Comfort is important.
The fried pickle was good.
The Waygu hamburger is a waste of great meat. The burger was funky tasting. Almost a blue cheese funk to it (the flavor wasn’t even close to Kobe or Waygu beef).
The Au Jus was watery and the fries had double the amount of garlic to pull off a garlic anything. The blond brownie reminded me of a grocery store bakery brownie……flavorless.
As a good friend that has a burgers on the menu at his restaurant…..”Hamburgers aren’t rocket science.” 👎

Been eating at Charred for years and this recent take out order was not as good as in the past. Our charred burgers did not have as good of a flavor that I'm used to, especially the jam. The lettuce was inedible and wilted, it's like that's all they had and used it anyways. The to-go soda was the same size as a kids drink even though I paid full price. The fries were not crispy so I had to throw them in the air fryer. I appreciated the free cookie in the box though.

My friend said 7/10 on the burger when we were there but I felt more like 9/10! Burger was soooo good!! Fries were super crispy and seasoned very well! 10/10 on the fries for sure! My friend noticed they used everything bagel seasoning on them! ? They have a great selection and do a monthly special burger too!

My mom and I were on a time crunch for lunch and wanted to eat somewhere quick. A friend recommended we go to Charred and just order online and eat there so it gets started quicker. We’d never been so we followed the advice. When we got there we told 2 people at the host stand that we ordered online to get a head start because we were in a hurry but hoped to eat there. We were literally told with attitude that that is “frowned upon” and that we could only sit at a high top table in the bar. A server got us drinks but when the food was done, the host brought it bagged and just dropped it on our table without offering plates, silverware, etc. or saying anything at all. I understand not plating the food if we got there after it had been boxed but this was not the case since we were early. We got the very evident hint and ate in the car. The food was great but we will never be back due to the rude, condescending attitudes of staff. If ordering ahead is against policy, there is definitely a more polite and kind way to explain this without making new guest feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Kyle our server was quick to serve us and friendly. The staff is friendly, from the Host to the people bringing out food. Delicious food. Prices are reasonable because the food speaks for itself. Fast food delivery which is important specially during lunch rush. The kitchen people did great, thank you! Will be back.

Great service, great food. Steakhouse burger was delicious! Recommend starting with fried cheesy pickles and cheese fries for appetizer.
Burgers are juicy and good. Service is really good. They have been busy every time I've been there but they definitely put forth an effort to keep good service.

I've been to Charred a few times in the last couple of months. The food is great! I have tried the Fungi burger, the North Carolina BBQ burger, and the French dip burger with mushrooms. I really liked the Fungi and French dip burgers the best. Their fries are very good, the tots are awesome! Hot & fresh burgers and sides. I enjoyed the strawberry lemonade (not too sweet), and I tried the strawberry mule, but I didn't care for it.Service was great the first 2 times and the last time it was a bit lacking. We had to flag the guy down bc he didn't check or refill soda/water. I'll go back, just hope for a more attentive waiter/waitress.
