Update 2023...I think of this place often. The food is genuinely authentic, while that does not say a lot but what does is the family atmosphere. The daughters that I have seen grow up over the last 10 years. I highly recommend going in and sitting at a table to eat.Family run restaurant that is friendly and FAST. I cannot begin to say enough how much of a hidden gem this place is. Good food for a great price and the owners kids that work the front have always been very helpful...
My wife is from the east coast and knows good Chinese. This is the only spot in west Omaha that really impressed her. My meal was also fabulous. I asked for them to make my dish extra spicy and the cook did amazing at a sufficient level of heat for my more extreme palet. All ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and the flavors were all present. Priced very well for the quality, very happy to find a place that doesn't require us to drive across town for good Chinese fare.
For just 9 dollars, you can get a high quality entree with an egg roll and soup, which is pretty crazy. They give you so much for your money that I would even consider it to be my favorite chinese fast-food resteraunt. I would recogmend to anyone looking for tasty chinese food that fits your budget, as long as you aren't ordering for a lot of people.
