I ordered a Carne asada bowl for takeout. A few chunks of the steak were pure fat and several chunks of the steak were very fatty. I expected much better quality (especially for the cost) and will not go back to the Maple St location around 185 and Maple. After I sent an email to Chipotle customer service, they replied they would notify the team at the restaurant. Not a good reply to keep a customer.

With this Chipotle, I have learned it’s faster to go in and order your food rather than do a mobile pick up, especially through the Chipotlane. The past few times I have gone through the Chipotlane, the food was 15-20 minutes behind because it’s just one person working at the window preparing all the orders. I placed an order on Friday and when I arrived, the poor kid at the window was so frazzled. He said it would probably be another 15-20 minutes. I ended up just going inside and waiting in the line and asked for the multiple people working at the front to help him fulfill my order. We had an appointment we had to be at and I couldn’t wait any longer. They said they were all out of brown rice and it was going to be another 20 minutes (you’d think rice is the one thing they wouldn’t run out of). They prepared my food and when we got home, we discovered they gave us someone else’s order. I don’t even know how that happened. I ended up having to chat with someone on the chipotle app for 15 minutes to resolve the situation (I got a refund). Still. It shouldn’t be this difficult. We ended up going to the chipotle on 147th after our appointment to get the correct food because I didn’t want to chance this one again. Where is the management at this place? It is ran with so much inefficiency. I would just recommend to everyone that if you’re going to do an order here, wait in the line and order food that way - this way you can see them prepare your food the right way. And it’s actually faster this way too. Online ordering can’t be trusted here.

I paid for a streak burrito bowl with guacamole and queso none of the potions were alike lots of rice beans and lettuce the steak portion was not at all worth how much I paid for it I’d hate to have to spend more money to double the meat when they should just portion it right

This location is stingy when it comes to their portions. Price went up but the portions are a lot smaller. If it isn’t for the location, I probably won’t be back here again.
The food portion is so little, when they are done with the bowl it hardly covers half of the bowl. The rice didn’t have any flavor & it looked & tasted old, it was hard like a lump. When I looked over to the section for the drive thru it was a mess, food was spilled over the table. The outside tables were very dirty & with spills.

April 2025 update… My oldest son (14) begged me to get him some Chipotle, so I caved. Talk about 180deg different experience. We stopped in about 6pm after a kids event and it was busy… He ordered a steak rice bowl and they loaded it. I ordered a kids taco for my younger son (10). We were in and out in 4 minutes. Back at home, my youngest didn’t finish his taco, so I helped him. Meat was great and the guacamole was fantastic. Not sure if it’s under new management or they just upgraded employees and training. Still has room for dining area cleaning, but Ii it stays this way, you’ll probably find us there once a week throughout the summer. Way to get better!!!
Initial Review March 2025 - 1 Star First time visiting this one. Not what I expected when I think Chipotle. This probably a localized set of issues. It’s a pretty new building to be that dirty. Good thing it was a to go order. Had to go in. No drive thru. Just a digital order lane. I’m not a big fan of fast food companies collecting and selling my private data for the sake of convenience, so I don’t use their app. I ordered a rice bowl with steak and drink. Seems they only put about eight cubes of steak on the bowls now (half of their spoonful). No manager present, just a handful of younger teenagers completely unconcerned that most of the tables were filthy. I asked if they have fountain drinks and got a response that it’s around the corner duh. They should write an article on how to mismanage a good brand, provide much less food and have poor customer service, so people can avoid certain locations. I’ll certainly spend $16 for a lot more elsewhere moving forward.

Chipotle’s Portions Are a Joke!
I don’t know what’s going on with Chipotle lately, but the portion sizes are laughable. My husband’s taco had one tiny square of chicken seriously, what are we paying for? I got a whopping five black beans in my bowl, and when the new employee tried to give me a reasonable amount of cheese and lettuce, they got in trouble for it right in front of me! And the bowl itself? Barely half full. For the price I paid, I expected at least a meal, not just a disappointing snack. Chipotle, do better. This is ridiculous.
