There was no acknowledgment for our birthday celebration and given the table next to the kitchen entrance. I mentioned this in booking as well as on arrival. There were plenty of table available. I've ordered food in advance but still have to order everything on arrival. Staff ignore the table for along time and have to go get the hot water refill for our tea as the pot was half filled. Food was taking too much time and no explanation of service sequence which would have been better for first time customer. Food was good size but many were too salty. Prawns was not fresh and too much battered. Overall, not a satisfactory experience and will not go again.

4 of us had dinner at Crystal Palace Seafood Rest. The food is excellent and very good servings. We had dim sims, prawn dumplings, mongolian lamb and satay chicken & fried rice. Everything was tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Ting was very attentive and all staff friendly. We might try something from their live tanks next time. Very reasonable price for food and drink menu wine selection is also well priced. We definitely recommend this restaurant. Make sure you book for weekends.

We will request a different table next time - seated right next to the kitchen it was a completely different experience than what we had had two weeks earlier at a different table. Very noisy. We had to request table water twice & drinks order was not very professional. Waitress walked away before we had finished ordering. Food was excellent & generous portions. Will go again.

The food is fine, but the boil rice is cold! We have to ask the waiter to re-heat it. The set menu supposed to have dessert, but there was none served. When we asked the waiter about the dessert, he said there is none. They should update the set menu to reflect it. Some of the waiters are pretty inexperience, put in the wrong dishes into the order record, but their head waiter corrected it.

First visit. Booking of 6. Ambience — Restaurant was extremely busy at lunch service. Book ahead. Arrival Staff — were hesitant about our booking, even though we booked online through their booking site Open Table and reconfirmed twice in the morning, through their SMS and also Open Table. Frustrated, they just pointed us to an available table. Could have been ours anyway but who knows! Floor Staff — No interaction or banter with us other than methodically taking our order, delivering food to our table and processing payment. Just a number, not a customer, kind of feeling. Next ! Service — Needs improvement. Had to repeat requests several times before getting any action. Glasses, utensils, rice, basic stuff. Food — Excellent. Decent sized portions. Reasonably priced. Would go back for the food.

Enjoyed all dishes ordered. My husband commented the crispy skin chicken dish half chicken dish was not a full half chicken dish as drumstick and wing was missing. Other than that we enjoyed the food particularly the doubled salt and pepper calamari and prawn dish.

I booked a table for six people through OpenTable. However, when we arrived at the restaurant at the confirmed booking time, the staff claimed they could not find our reservation. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed OpenTable and told us that we should call them directly in the future instead of using online booking. We disagreed, as we believe the issue was with the restaurant, not the booking system. We raised our complaint with the club's beverage manager, who agreed that the problem lay with the restaurant. Only then did the staff member change his story, saying he had only been working there for a couple of days and did not know the details. If that is the case, I can accept that he may not know the full details, but it is not acceptable to point fingers at others without certainty. Eventually, the restaurant manager (or owner) arranged a table for us, but by then I had already noticed a couple of other groups leaving the restaurant disappointed. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I hope measures will be taken to ensure other customers are not treated the same way.
