My wife and myself eat Indian food frequently and we are blessed to have so many choices in Omaha. This restaurant, however, is by far our favorite Indian restaurant in Omaha, and perhaps our favorite restaurant, period. The owner is very kind and we always feel welcome here. The menu is broad and we have not been disappointed in any offering we have had. The portions are very generous, but most importantly are cooked to perfection. Chicken is lean and nicely proportioned and vegetables are savory and never overcooked. The huge selection of different breads makes choosing difficult. Whichever naan or kulcha one chooses is certain to be delicious. The vegetable samosas are my wife's favorite. They are huge flavor bombs and never greasy -- always perfectly done.Curri easily has the best korma we've ever tasted. We got the chicken and mixed vegetable korma this last time on the recommendation of the owner. The gravy was amazing and I used the naan to wipe up every last bit of it after I'd finished the entree.Service is quick and friendly. We cannot wait to come back again -- probably next week.Vegetarian options: All of the curries are available as vegetarian entrees. The Samosas and Pakoras are to-die for.

We had the chicken korma with mixed vegetables. The gravy was complex, aromatic and the had just the slightest hint of heat. The chunks of chicken were tender and nicely proportioned. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, too. We also had samosas and the cheese naan. All the portions were very generous and the service was quick. The owner was very kind and friendly, and we intend to go back as soon as possible for the wonderful food. 5 stars all the way around.

Outstanding Indian food with wonderful flavors. The naan is light and crisp, but also a little chewy. The garlic naan is the best with a good flavor, not over powering or too oily. The portion sizes are ideal. Small mango lassi was a creamy and refreshing beverage to finish the meal. The spice levels seem accurate to expectation. Seems like a family run place, which was adorable since the son sat me and got my order. Only one other table was dining when I went, and it seemed that the two (or three if you count the child) working would've had a hard time keeping up if it was busier. It would've been nice to have some kind of background music to cover the sounds of the other diners conversation. Overall, excellent food and flavors! Definitely a must try if in Omaha.

May have been new owners, the manager didn’t help serve - talked on phone or w/service people who may have been fixing something. The service was slow, only one server- a couple left the venue, waiting 10 minutes at the door to be seated. The wait time from our food order to finally getting food was over 1 hr & 45 minutes. Would’ve had to take it to go if we’d been on a schedule, or just left. Tho tandoori orders ‘take 25 minutes(?!)’ we were told, it was an hour. Non tandoori meal was out 1/2 hr ahead of others…Food was ok, no or soup or salad w/ lunch or rice w/tandoor orders- and no soup options that day anyway (?) It’s expensive for only adequate portions. Naan was good but small. Other places we like better.

By far my favorite Indian restaurant - unbelievably authentic spices. First introduced to Currie by a student of mine who came from New Delhi and said this food was closest to her home style cuisine. We brought our entire studio here and the atmosphere was serene and easy place to converse. My husband and I tried many other Indian places and returned here by default in January of 2024. The female owner was much more attentive and we tried her chai made with ginger juice and sometimes carmedon. Much healthier without the extra sugar!!! Since then, I’ve returned 3x for lunch and dinner. The food is delicious and the presence of the owner indicates devotion and appreciation of her customers. I love the experience dining here.Vegetarian options: It’s the sauces that are so rich in spices and deliciousDietary restrictions: I do ask to hold the salt and make my dish very mild and they listenParking: EasyWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible

The food is just average, and they aren't especially friendly. The place across the street is much better!

I have tried so many Indian restaurant cuisines so trust me when I say, this is the best Indian restaurant in Nebraska. Although, service was great, I was mostly blown away by the food. It was so incredibly aromatic, flavorful, and delicious that my boyfriend and I literally could not stop talking about anything other than how good it was. The chicken and lamb was so soft and tender, it wasn't dry as most Indian meats I've tried, usually is. The naan was crispy thin but soft and a little chewy, which is very unique. The curry was creamy, tasty, and seasoned just right. I can't complain about the price or the portion and you shouldn't either. Don't be greedy, the portions are correct and the pricing isn't bad for the food or service. I come back to this place consistently and it still has my heart.
