Dirty Birds Reviews
highly recommend the pappardelle w/ mushroom ragu as well as the catfish, the onion rings, and the hushpuppies. the staff were welcoming, friendly, & attentive. They gave excellent suggestions. We decided we wanted to immediately go home, sell our house, and move to Omaha so that we could become Dirty Birds regulars.
Seriously best lasagna I have ever had. I highly suggest everything else as well. We come here a lot , but the specials are different. This is the first time I was able to try the lasagna as they are always out by the time I get there. They are a great establishment !!!!
I was in town for my sons baseball tournament and we stopped in to eat dinner. As soon as we entered we were greeted and welcomed in. The staff is amazing! We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the fried chicken. The portion size is huge, me and my mom could have split one fried chicken meal. Everything was wonderful from the crispy juicy chicken to the homemade pickles, and fries. The biscuits and strawberry jam were top notch. Dirty Birds serves exceptional fried chicken, featuring beautifully textured and juicy meat with perfectly balanced seasoning and a crispy exterior. The Chicken & Cakes and sweet tea brined chicken tenders are highly recommended, with the tenders being incredibly crisp yet juicy inside. The Omahawt fried chicken sandwich is notably large, almost the size of a dinner plate. The Blue Corn Hush Puppies and Chicken Fried Onion Rings are must-try appetizers, offering a perfect balance of crunch and softness. Though the catfish may not be the best option, the fried pickles stand out as crispy and delicious. The house-made sauces, especially the De(e)bo Sauce, are very tasty, and some guests even take a pint to go. With friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, Dirty Birds has a real laid-back vibe that makes it a great spot for a satisfying meal. Customers have noted that every dish arrives piping hot and fresh, contributing to a memorable experience.
