My husband and I both ordered the Market Special- the soft shell crab dinner. It was as delicious at we expected. We also got the crab cakes and creme brule. On Wednesday's Chris Saab is at the restaurant to provide background music. We enjoyed that also.
We had a great meal at Dolce. We have been there several times over the years & the menu, and service, never disappoint us. There is a strange occurrence that has happened the last three times we have dined at Dolce - the owner, chef, or manager always makes it a point to visit all the tables at some point during the evening....a nice touch, right!? I'm assuming they are thanking the table, asking how things taste, etc. However, the last three times we have been there,...
We tried the 6-course chef's tasting menu. While the main ingredients (salmon and wagyu) weren't our favorites, the flavors in each dish were outstanding. The service and overall vibe felt more casual than we expected, but the small, quiet atmosphere was lovely. We'd definitely return to try items from the regular menu.
