Elie's Chinchorro offers outstanding Puerto Rican food, with particularly noteworthy cocktails and conch ceviche. The waitstaff, including a standout waiter referred to as "the kid", provide excellent service. The restaurant is highly regarded for its delicious and hearty food, making it a place for a satisfying meal.

This is the only Puerto Rican food in town, and Chef Elie is very gracious, sharing cooking tips and recipes. The arroz manpostea'o and mofongo are highly recommended, bringing authentic flavors of Puerto Rico to Omaha. The service is excellent, clean, and friendly, with staff like Mariela F providing wonderful attention. A family restaurant with great customer service, it’s a must-visit for Latin cuisine. They also offer private catering and plan to add more typical Puerto Rican dishes.
