Waited at the counter for a few minutes to order my food. A few employees looked at me. No one bothered to even say hello or ask to take my order. No other customers in the store. Are they on drugs or just lazy? Very awkward experience and will not be returning to this location.

I constantly rave about how amazing Firehouse Subs is. Yesterday I decided to choose Firehouse Subs for Lunch. I will never be back to this location. The service was below par and unprofessional. I just received a new card in the mail and accidentally handed them my old one by mistake. When the payment did not go though. The young cashier sitting in a chair screamed: “ Your payment was declined!” So not only did everyone in the establishment hear her, when paying with my correct card I was stared down like a criminal and not handed my cup for a drink until payment was approved. Accidents happen, I would’ve ignored the behavior but then my sandwich was terrible. It was swimming in italian dressing by the time I got home it was soggy. I asked for no pickle spear but still got one. The Mac and Cheese was terrible. I was scared they might have tampered with my food so I did not eat any of it and will now have to drive out of my way if I ever decide I want to give Firehouse Subs another chance at a different location.

Unfortunate Experience at Firehouse Subs Orchard Plaza in OmahaJanuary 25, 2024We have been regular customers at the Firehouse Subs in Omaha for several years, but our visit today was deeply disappointing and concerning. Our family stopped by for lunch and, to our surprise, an incident occurred that has left us uncomfortable about returning.Firstly, we noticed an employee, who later turned out to be the same person serving us, engaging in suspicious behavior in his car. This was concerning, but we didn't expect it to affect our visit. However, the situation escalated unexpectedly. After we had settled at our table with our food and the chips we purchased, this employee approached us, accusing us of stealing the potato chips. We were taken aback by this baseless accusation. What made it worse was his refusal to believe us even after we showed our receipt as proof of purchase. Being called liars in front of other customers was embarrassing and unacceptable. This experience was not only uncomfortable but also quite bizarre, especially considering our previously positive experiences at this location. We value honest and respectful service, and this incident unfortunately did not meet those standards. We hope that this feedback is taken seriously, as we believe everyone deserves to have a pleasant dining experience without such accusations or confrontations.

Gluten free bread option here is hands down the best, compared to other chains. They are also one of the few places that still have Coke Freestyle machines. We had super friendly service from the lone staff person here on a Sunday at lunchtime.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Steamer sandwich was no where near what was advertised nor what I consistently get in other locations. Pastrami was missing and the corn beef had maybe 4 slices. The macaroni and cheese didn't even fill the cup halfway and it was runny. I spoke with the owner after another man was stating this was the worst sandwich he'd ever received at Firehouse. The manager was rude, he kept making excuses to both me and the other customer about things that had nothing to do with food quality or preparation. He just blew me off. At 12:30 on a workday there was only three tables and no line. *read the room - nobody there? There's a reason.

I had a really good experience at this location. The service was great and so was the food. I decided to go with the smokehouse brisket and it's probably my favorite thing on the menu. Most of there sandwiches are pretty good so kind of hard to go wrong at this place.
