Nice location, Food was on point. They could save a couple hundred bucks a month in electricity costs. What is this place a library? Surgeon's table? Other than being blinded by the light, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal including service and food.
Fun setting, good food, and friendly service. Tandoori chicken was delicious. The naan was drier than I prefer, but plentiful and mint chutney was just what it was wanting. Nice evening with my family.
I loved the naan bread!!! The chicken was cooked well and the patio was welcoming and comforting! Seasoning was tasty and flavorful!
it has a good interior. they have so many great reviews for a reason.
The Oven is a very friendly place. My wife and I go there and always get top-notch customer service. So to begin with, it is always best for you to call ahead and make reservations. This is a very small restaurant with limited seating, and on prime traffic nights this place can stay full with lines waiting.Next, the wait staff are very friendly and even remember us just by faces. They go out of their way to take care of people and are very genuine with the way they treat others. This is a not a common trait in many restaurants so I find this a remarkable behavior. Finally, the food is cooked fresh so the main meals sometimes take a while to arrive, but it is well worth the wait.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was fantastic. The non-vegetarian Thali was a great option, it's enough food for 3 people. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not the best, it took almost an hour to get our food, they seemed very short staffed. Also, they charge 20% gratuity for a group of 6, so keep that in mind. We weren't expecting that on top of their already higher prices. I'd go again for sure, but perhaps do takeout or on a weekday evening.
Definitely worth going back to. It has a cool interior.
Food and atmosphere was AMAZING! Brandon our waiter was the best waiter we have had at any restaurant we have visited in over a year! Thanks Brandon you made this night exceptional!! Will definitely recommend this restaurant!!
This has to be my favorite restaurant! I always get the lamb korma with the soup and I'm never disappointed!! Occasionally we will get some naan too which is also good!!
The staff was very kind and attentive. If it was closer to my home I would be here often.

We love this restaurant and we’re so sad we haven’t been there the last few months since Covid. In fact, we just had another local Indian restaurant and everything we have we compare to what we like at The Oven. They’re amazing and we can’t wait to go back. *Everything* we’ve tried there is delicious. If you’re looking for a place downtown to try: start here.
First time trying indian cuisine. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also made excellent recommendations. The ambiance was relaxing and upscale perfect for a date night or a family dinner. I forgot pictures but the samosas and lassis are also fantastic!
Why does site say open on Saturday for lunch and they are not open. Called Lincoln oven and they said Omaha Oven is open Saturday for lunch. Phone not answered. Drove downtown Omaha, Oven was closed.
Stopped here for dine in lunch with COVID19 restrictions in place, and few other options for dine in. Very tasty, entrees served with rice and choice of soup/salad (menu can be misread as only choice one of the 3). Samosas and mint chutney are delicious!
Amazing food!! Servers are friendly. Portions are large. And can't beat the location in the Old Market. A great date night spot!
